The Department of Technical Education, TGCHE, conducts TG ICET 2026 counselling online. Qualifying candidates can participate in TS ICET 2026 counselling. Admissions are done based on the as TG ICET rank on the merit list. The counselling process includes document verification, option entry, seat allotment, payment of fees and self-reporting. Seat allotment to candidates is based on merit, category, gender, the local area and special reservation criteria. Candidates who will attend the first phase of TSICET 2026 counselling will also be eligible for the second round. With the announcement of the seat allotment result, candidates can download the seat allotment letter and complete the remaining admission formalities.

Q: What happens to the first-phase seat if a better allotment is received in TS ICET final phase?

TGCHE conducts the TS ICET counselling in two or more phases. If a candidate is allotted a new seat in the final phase of the TG ICET counselling, their first-phase seat is automatically cancelled. The candidate cannot claim the earlier allotment after the final phase result is declared. This rule applies even if the first-phase seat was confirmed earlier.

Therefore, candidates must participate in the final phase of the TG ICET counselling only when they are not satisfied with their allotment from the first round.
