FMGE 2024 Result Analysis
According to the data shared by NBE, a total of around 35,000 candidates appeared for the screening exam. The authorities have announced that the results of 7 candidates have been withheld due to pending clarification from the exam ethics committee. The passing percentage for the FMGE 2024 December session will be mentioned after the data is out but it will be around 20%.
Considering the data of the June 2024 session exam, a total of 29,000 candidates appeared in the June session exam. While the passing percentage for the FMGE 2024 June session was around 23%.

FMGE Qualifying/Passing Marks
FMGE 2024 passing percentage is 50% marks. This means that a candidate needs to secure at least 50% marks in the FMGE 2024 result. Candidates are expected to score 150 or above marks to qualify for the exam. Any candidates scoring less than 150 marks will be considered “FAILED” in the exam.
FMGE Scorecard 2024
The FMGE scorecard shall be available for download to the candidates through applicant login using the User ID and Password. As per the notification shared, the FMGE scorecard for the December 2024 session will be issued on or after January 27, 2024. The qualified candidates will also be issued Pass Certificates after in-person document and identity verification tentatively within four weeks of the declaration of results.
What after the FMGE Result 2024?
After the declaration of the result of FMGE 2024 by NBE, qualified candidates will have to apply to the ‘Secretary, Medical Council of India, Delhi’ or any other State Medical Council. If a candidate wishes to acquire a permanent registration, then he/she must complete one year of compulsory rotatory internship. However, if a candidate is still in the process of internship then they will be issued a provisional registration certificate.

The FMGE cutoff is released once the FMGE results are released. Once the FMGE cutoff is out, those who beat the cutoff list will be called for the counselling process. Students must score a minimum of 150 out of 300 to be able to beat the cutoff.

The FMGE exam has 300 MCQs worth 300 marks. Each correct answer gives 1 mark, and there is no negative marking. The exam is divided into two sections, Part A and Part B; each section is of 2 and a half hours. To pass, one must score 150 out of 300.

There is currently no limit on total number of attempts for FMGE. You can appear for as many sessions as needed. Very soon, National Exit Test (NExT) will replace FMGE exam. It may introduce new regulations regarding attempt limits once implemented. As of now, no limit for re-attempts.

Candidates must bring the following documents to the test center to be allowed entry. Digital copies on mobile phones are strictly not accepted.
