NEET 2021 Phase 2 Registrations to Begin Soon

NEET 2021 Phase 2 Registrations 

NEET 2021 Phase 2 Registration process was reopened on October 21. The last date to submit the NEET 2021 Phase 2 registration form along with the corrections in the first phase was October 26, 11.50 pm. “On receiving numerous requests from the candidates, the National Testing Agency is opening the window for filling up of the Second set of Information particulars of the First and Second Phase of Online Application Form for NEET (UG) 2021,” NTA has stated in the official notification, indicating the reopening of the NEET 2021 Phase 2 registration process and correction window.

The particulars where the changes can be made are as follows:

i. Gender

ii. Nationality

iii. e-mail address

iv. Category

v. Sub-category

vi. Fields of second phase

This facility is also available for Candidates who have done one-time corrections in these particular fields earlier.

How to Fill NEET 2021 Phase 2 Application Form

Candidates have to follow the steps given below to apply for the NEET 2021 Phase 2:

  • Visit the official website of NEET 2021
  • Login with the NEET 2021 application number, password and captcha
  • Enter the One Time Password (OTP) which will be sent to the registered mobile numbers 
  • Click on 'Verify & Proceed for Correction'
  • Enter the details or edit the information entered in the first phase of the registration

Details to be Entered in NEET 2021 Phase 2 Registration Form

The following details had to be entered by the candidates in Phase 2 of the NEET 2021 application form.

Personal Details

This section was applicable for female and minority category candidates and they had to enter and upload relevant certificates and documents on the following:

  • If the female candidate is the only child of her parents

  • Minority type

  • Mode of preparation

Educational Details

In this section, candidates had to enter the details of their Class 10 and Class 11, such as:

  • Pass status

  • Year of passing/appearing

  • Qualifying examination

  • Place of schooling

  • Type of school/college

  • Qualifying examination state

  • Qualifying examination district

  • Board name

  • Mode of result

  • Maximum grade point

  • Total CGPA

  • CGPA obtained

  • Total marks

  • Marks obtained

  • Marks in percentage

  • Roll number

  • School/college name address

  • School/college pin code

Parents’ Income Details

In this section, candidates had to enter their both parents’ educational and annual income details, mentioned below:

  • Parents’ educational qualification

  • Parents’ occupation

  • Parents’ annual income

In the case of the absence of parents, candidates had to enter their guardians’ professional and income details.

Documents to be Uploaded

Although earlier it was announced that candidates would have to upload documents pertaining to their category and sub-category, but as per a recent update on the official website, candidates did not need to upload any document. NTA has stated, No documents need to be uploaded in filling up the Second Phase of Online Application Form for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) 2021.”

Additional Details

The additional personal information that has to be entered in the form are as follows:

  • Place of birth

  • State

  • District

The second phase registration process of NEET 2021 had begun on October 1 and ended on October 14. NEET exam was conducted on September 12 in 202 cities in India, and two international cities of Dubai and Kuwait. Over 15 lakh candidates have appeared for the exam, which was conducted in paper-pencil based mode in 13 languages.
