GATE 2025 Final Answer Key Expected to be Released on March 18

The GATE 2025 final answer key is expected to be released a day before the GATE 2025 results. IIT Roorkee will announce the GATE results on March 19, 2025. Read below for more. 

The GATE 2025 exam conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, is nearing the final stages of its evaluation process. The GATE 2025 final answer key, which incorporates the reviews of the candidate's objections to the GATE provisional key, is expected to be released on March 18, 2025, just one day before the GATE 2025 result announcement (March 19, 2025).

GATE 2025 Provisional Answer Key and Objection Timeline

On February 27, 2025, IIT Roorkee published the provisional answer key and response sheets, allowing candidates to compare their answers and identify potential discrepancies. Candidates were given until March 1, 2025, to raise objections against any perceived inaccuracies in the provisional key. 

Subject matter experts reviewed these objections, leading to revisions in the GATE 2025 final answer key. Candidates must note that the final answer key cannot be challenged. The GATE final answer key will be available on the GATE’s official website - gate2025.iitr.ac.in. 

GATE 2025 Results and Scorecard Availability

IIT Roorkee will announce the GATE 2025 CS, ME, EE, MA, DA, CE, XL, and EC results on March 19, 2025 at gate2025.iitr.ac.in. Candidates can access their results and scorecards through the same official website. The GATE score is valid three years from the result announcement date, facilitating opportunities for higher education and employment in various public and private sector organisations.

The GATE 2025 result scorecard will be made available for free from March 28 to May 31, 2025. Later, candidates can download the scorecard by paying a fee of INR 500/- per paper till December 31, 2025.
