GATE 2026 response sheet: IIT Guwahati had officially released GATE exam response sheet on February 22. The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering was conducted by IIT Guwahati this year. Candidates can now download their response sheet, question paper and answer key at GOAPS using enrollment ID and password. Read below to check date and time, steps, instructions, and other details.
IIT Guwahati has completed conducting GATE 2026 exam this year. The MTech engineering entrance exam was held for 30 subject papers on multiple dates in two shifts. The GATE response sheet 2026 along with answer key and GATE question paper is now AVAILABLE at GOAPS portal for download.
Candidates who appeared GATE on Feb 7, 8, 14, and 15 can access the response sheet of GATE exam. The official website to access the response sheet is gate2026.iitg.ac.in.

What after the release of response sheet of GATE?
After the release of the response sheet, students were able to evaluate their scores. If they want to raise any objection, they can do so during the given timeline. Based on the submissions, the subject matter experts will review and publish GATE 2026 final answer key along with result.
Candidates have to note that the GATE 2026 objection window was available for a limited period of time (Feb 25-28). The date to raise objection was Feb 28. Candidates had to access the objection window at GATE login. The result was declared on March 19, along with GATE minimum qualifying mark. The final answer key is now available at GOAPS.

How to use GATE exam response sheet 2026 to calculate marks?
As mentioned above, with the help of response sheet, candidates will be able to calculate their expected GATE scores, and predict best college they can get, using GATE college predictor. However, to do that, candidates must be aware of the GATE exam pattern and marking scheme.

Yes, candidates can challenge the GATE 2026 answer key online by paying INR 500 per question. Candidates have to provide proper proof for their objections. IIT Guwahati has released the GATE 2026 answer key. The answer key is released in two formats- provisional and final. The GATE provisional answer key can be challenged if the responses are not satisfactory. Once all the objections are addressed and corrected, the concerned authorities will publish the final answer key, which cannot be challenged further.
The GATE counselling process starts after the announcement of results. The GATE counselling is conducted by COAP and CCMT. The COAP (Common Offer Acceptance Portal) is the counselling portal that offers admission to IITs.
While CCMT (Centralised Counselling for MTech/M.Arch/M.Plan) is the counselling portal that offers admission to NITs, IIITs, and other GFTIs.

Indian Institute of Technology released GATE cutoff 2026. The IITG GATE 2026 result has been declared. The conducting body releases the exam result and cutoff for all 30 subjects.
