The Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar has launched a specialized e-Masters Degree Programme in Applications of Machine Learning in Engineering, designed to equip professionals with advanced knowledge and hands-on skills for seamlessly integrating machine learning into core engineering domains. The programme aims to drive innovation, efficiency, and optimization across sectors such as manufacturing, automation, predictive maintenance, energy systems, and smart infrastructure.

Designed specifically for working professionals, the two-year programme offers a flexible format with live interactive sessions scheduled on evenings and weekends, complemented by self-paced learning modules. Notably, admission does not require a GATE qualification.

Who are eligible for IITGN e-Masters in Machine Learning Applications for Engineers?

Applicants must have a minimum of 55% marks or a 5.5 CGPA/CPI in one of the following qualifications: a four-year BTech/BS degree in a relevant Engineering or Technology field; a five-year Integrated Master of Science; or a five-year MCA, MSc, or BS-MS programme (or an equivalent qualification). Additionally, mathematics at the Grade 12 level is a mandatory requirement.

IITGN e-Masters in Machine Learning Applications for Engineers

The two-year e-Masters programme comprises six modules, each spanning 12 to 14 weeks, and carries a total of 52 credits. Key features include 100% live sessions, a flexible learning structure, small batch sizes, a residency component, career development support, mentorship, and IIT Gandhinagar alumni status.

IITGN e-Masters in Machine Learning Applications for Engineers Fees

The application fee for the programme is INR 1,000, payable at the time of submission. For selected candidates, the fee structure includes a registration fee of INR 1,50,000, due within two weeks of selection, and a tuition fee of INR 7,80,000, payable in six instalments, bringing the total programme fee to INR 9,30,000.

An Early Bird Offer is available for both organization-sponsored and self-sponsored candidates. Sponsored candidates receive an INR 45,000 waiver on the registration fee, while self-sponsored candidates are eligible for an INR 30,000 waiver. This offer is valid until June 20, 2025.
