IIT Gandhinagar is now inviting applications for the second batch of its e-Masters in Energy Policy and Regulation (EPR) — a two-year, flexible, and industry-aligned postgraduate program that does not require a GATE qualification. Designed for working professionals and graduates from diverse fields like engineering, economics, law, management, and finance, the program offers a deep dive into the regulatory frameworks, sustainability imperatives, and global trends shaping the future of energy in India and beyond.

As per a release issued by the institute, “We are pleased to announce that after the successful launch of the inaugural batch in January 2024, applications are now open for the second batch of the e-Masters in Energy Policy and Regulation program.”

Program Duration: 2 years

Number of Credits: 52 credits

Modules: There are six modules in the program.

Module Duration: Each module lasts for 12-14 weeks.

Eligibility:

A graduate degree in a relevant field, such as Engineering, Economics, Law, Commerce, Management, Finance, etc. with a minimum of 60% marks or 6.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale)

No GATE qualification is required

Fees:

The application fee for the program is ₹1,000, payable during submission. The total program fee is ₹7,22,000, broken down into a registration fee of ₹1,50,000 (due within 2 weeks of selection) and a tuition fee of ₹5,72,000.
