Release Date of GATE 2025 Answer Key

As per some sources (ET NOW), a senior official from IIT Roorkee has stated that the GATE 2025 provisional answer key will be available on February 26, 2025. However, it is expected that it can be released on or before Feb 26, 2025. Candidates can download the answer key PDF from the official website: gate2025.iitr.ac.in.

Procedure to Access and Challenge the Answer Key

Once released, candidates can follow these steps to access and download the GATE 2025 answer key:

1. Visit the official website: gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
2. Click on the link for the GATE 2025 answer key PDF.
3. The answer key PDF will appear on the screen; download and save it for future reference.

If candidates identify discrepancies or errors in the answer key, they can raise objections. The objection window will be accessible through the same official website. Candidates can select the questions they wish to challenge, upload supporting documents, and pay the requisite fee. The fee for each objection is INR 500 per question. After reviewing all objections, IIT Roorkee will release the GATE 2025 final answer key.

Marking Scheme and Result Declaration

The GATE 2025 examination comprises multiple-choice questions (MCQs), multiple-select questions (MSQs), and numerical answer type (NAT) questions. The General Aptitude (GA) section is common to all papers, carrying 15 marks. The marking scheme varies across different papers, combining one-mark and two-mark questions.

After releasing the final answer key, IIT Roorkee will announce the GATE 2025 results on March 19, 2025. Candidates can access their results and download the scorecard from the official website using their enrollment ID and password.
