VITEEE 2026 counselling will be held online at vit.ac.in. The official dates will be announced after the results are declared. Qualified candidates will have to particiapte in the VITEEE counselling 2026 for admission into the BTech courses offered by the participating campuses. During the VITEEE counselling, the candidates have to log in according to the dates allotted to their ranks, and fill out their choice of courses and courses. The choice filling has to be done in order of preference. VITEEE 2026 counselling fee has to be paid through net banking, credit card or debit card. VITEEE 2026 seat allotment result will be available online. Allotment of seats will be done based on the candidate's rank and preferences. VITEEE 2026 Counselling - Rank-wise Eligibility
The required VITEEE rank eligibility differs for certain VIT campuses. Candidates are advised to carefully check the required ranks that they need to secure to be eligible for the different campuses under VIT.
- Candidates with a VIT 2026 rank between 1 and 1,00,000 will be eligible to take part in counselling for admission in Vellore/Chennai/Bhopal (MP)/VIT-AP.
- Candidates who will be ranked above 1,00,000 will be eligible for admission only in VIT AP and VIT Bhopal.

Yes, to get admission into the VIT Vellore campus, the students will have to pass VITEEE with a rank upto 1 Lacs. The same eligibility also applies for VIT Chennai campus. If the student has a rank greater than 1 Lac, then they can apply for VIT Andhra Pradesh or Bhopal.
For VITEEE admissions, there is no specific reservation criteria. Students will be given admission according to their rank in exam, order of preferences, eligibility and availability of seat. Before registration, students should check official eligibility criteria.

VITEEE 2026 Counselling Process
Counselling: May ' 26
VITEEE 2026 counselling dates will be announced online. Candidates will have to participate in the counselling according to their VIT ranks. The authorities will allot dates to the candidates for counselling according to the rank range they belong to. During VIT BTech counselling, candidates have to log in using the required details and pay the fee. The non-refundable counselling fee of INR 5900 has to be paid through net banking/credit card/debit card. After payment, candidates have to select their choice of colleges and courses in order of preference. Candidates should submit more than 25 preferences for higher chances of admission. VITEEE 2026 seat allotment will be done according to their rank and preferences.

To check the VITEEE seat allotment result, the candidates will have to log in using their application number and password. No other mode will be used by the authorities to announce the seat allotment. The authorities will allot the candidates as per their obtained rank, preferences, category and seat availability. The allotted candidates will have to confirm their admission before the final date by paying the tuition fee. In case the candidates are not able to confirm their admission before the final date, their allotment will be cancelled.

Yes, VIT does offer scholarships to eligible students. In the official website, the VIT authorities have mentioned that the toppers of each board (central or state) are given a 4 year 100% fee waiver under the School Development Programme. Similarly, VITEEE rank holders 1 to 10 are given 100% fee waiver for all four years. VIT rank holders of 11 to 50 are given 75% fee waiver, 51 to 100 ranks a 50% fee waiver, and 101 to 500 rank holders, a 25% fee waiver.

Candidates have to submit original documents and two sets of photocopies for verification. If they do not submit them before the final date, then their admission will be cancelled.
