IIT Mandi MBA Admission 2025: Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for admission, applicants must meet the following:
- JEE Mains 2025 Qualification: Must have obtained the minimum NTA score in JEE Mains (Paper 1) required to qualify for JEE Advanced 2025
- Academic Requirements:
- Must have studied Mathematics and English at the Class 12 (or equivalent) level
- Minimum of 75% marks in Class 12 (65% for SC/ST/PwD candidates)
IIT Mand MBA Selection Process: JEE Mains + Interview
Admissions will be granted through a two-stage selection process:
- Shortlisting based on final NTA scores in JEE Mains 2025 Paper-1
- Personal Interview for shortlisted candidates
The final selection will be based on a composite score:
- 70% weightage: JEE Mains NTA score
- 30% weightage: Personal interview performance
Increased Intake with Gender Diversity Focus
For the academic year 2025-26, the intake capacity has been increased to 72 students, including 20% reserved seats for female candidates, covering supernumerary seats to encourage gender diversity in tech-enabled management roles.

To get a seat at IIT Mandi for BSc programme, candidates must apply for and appear for the JEE Main exam followed by the JEE Advanced exam. The selected candidates are further required to appear for the JoSAA counselling.

Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements can fill out the application form by visiting the IIT-M official website (iitmandi.ac.in). Aspirants further need to take the entrance test conducted by the institute followed by a personal interview round. The weightage of the exam score is 60% and for the interview is 40%. Based on candidates' performance in both the selection rounds, seat allotment is carried out.
