Does AIAPGET 2026 include private AYUSH colleges?

Private AYUSH colleges can be part of the broader AIAPGET admission system. However, counselling for AIQ seats of private Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani and Homoeopathy institutes is conducted by the respective State/UT counselling authorities, not AACCC.

How does the counselling process work for AIAPGET?

AIAPGET counselling starts with online registration. Registration can be done on the official website, aaccc.gov.in. Apart from registration, the counselling process involves choice filling of college and course. Steps of the counselling process are given below: Step 1: Registration for AACCC-PG Counseling Step 2: Payment of Counseling Fee (Non-Refundable Registration Fee + Security Deposit Money) Step 3: Choice filling and locking Step 4: Release of Seat allotment list (Result Publication) Step 5: Reporting to the allotted college. Who all are eligible for round 2 AIAPGET counselling?

Candidates who didn't get seat despite registration in round-1 AIAPGET counselling are eligible. Some of the eligible candidates for round-2 seat allotment have been enlisted below: AIAPGET qualified candidates who have not registered in Round-1 Candidates registered for the 1st round and were not allotted seats Candidates who have opted for free exit in the 1st Round Candidates joined the allotted seat iqn the 1st round and submitted willingness for up-gradation in the 2nd round

Is admit card required during reporting for AIAPGET counselling?

Yes candidates will be asked to show admit card during reporting for AIAPGET 2025 counselling. It is to be noted candidates must carry original certificates and documents for reporting. Apart from admit card, candidates need following documents: AIAPGET 2025 result Mark Sheets of BAMS/BUMS/BHMS/BSMS BAMS/BUMS/BHMS/BSMS Degree Certificate Internship Completion Certificate stating candidate had completed his/her duration by January 31, 2025 Permanent/Provisional Registration Certificate issued by CCIM/State Medical Council High school/higher secondary certificate/birth certificate A valid photo ID proof (PAN Card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport or Aadhar Card) Caste/community Certificate

Who can participate in AIAPGET counselling for seat allotment?

Candidates who qualify AIAPGET exam with the minimum cut off can participate in the counselling for seat allotment. They have to register online to participate in the counselling. Registration can be done on the official website. Registration will be followed by choice declaration and choice locking. Seats will be allotted based on declared choice, available seats, reservation factor etc. A separate seat allotment result will be released for each round of counselling.

Can I register in second round if I missed the first round of AIAPGET counselling?

Yes. Registration can be done in all three rounds except stray vacancy round. Candidates will have to register and submit application form on the official website for AIAPGET counselling. Candidates are advised to use same e-mail address and mobile number for registration on AACCC PG portal for Counselling which was provided to NTA during registration of AIAPGET.

Is qualifying AIAPGET 2026 enough to get a seat?

No. Qualifying the examination only makes a candidate eligible for counselling. Admission depends on factors such as AIAPGET rank, category, choice of course and college, seat availability and the counselling round.

Is there a separate AIAPGET exam for different AYUSH institutes?

No. AIAPGET serves as the common entrance examination for admission to PG ASU & H courses for the 2026-27 academic session. AYUSH colleges and universities do not conduct a separate entrance examination for these courses.

AIAPGET Counselling 2026: Ayush Admissions Central Counseling Committee released AIAPGET 2026 counselling schedule for admission to postgraduate AYUSH courses. These courses are MD/MS programmes in Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani and Homoeopathy. AIAPGET Round 1 Counselling registration will begin from October 26 to November 1, 2026. Candidates can fill and lock their choices from October 27 to November 1, 2026. AIAPGET Counselling seat allotment result for Round 1 will be released on November 3, 2026. Candidates with allotted seats can report to their colleges from November 4 to 13, 2026.

AIAPGET 2026 result was released on September 18, 2026. Candidates will be required to register online to participate in the counselling process if qualified. AIAPGET 2026 exam was conducted in CBT mode on August 22, 2026. A re-exam was also conducted for 49 candidates on September 1, 2026.

AIAPGET Counselling 2026 Dates

AACCC has released AIAPGET 2026 counselling schedule for admission to postgraduate AYUSH courses. The schedule includes three regular counselling rounds and two stray vacancy rounds. AIAPGET 2026 Registration for Counselling

Candidates need to register on the official website of AACCC to particpate in AIAPGET Counselling. They have to fill the application form. Candidates are advised to fill in the exact same details that were filled in the AIAPGET application form 2026 on the website of NTA. Any discrepancy in these two forms may lead to the disqualification of the candidate.

Registration fee

To complete the application process for AIAPGET counselling 2026, a candidate must pay a non-refundable registration fee to AACCC. Along with this, they will also have to deposit a security fee depending on the type of colleges they are applying for. Refer to the table given below to know about the registration and security fee of AIAPGET 2026 counselling.

Choice Filling

Candidates will have to log in to their registered accounts with their roll number and password. They need to choose the speciality/college in order of preference. They should check their choices filled in the preferred form of AIAPGET 2026 counselling before the final submission. Once the choices have been submitted, no changes will be permitted in them.

Seat Allotment

On the basis of the merit position of the candidate and the choices filled by them, AACCC will prepare a seat allotment list. Candidates who have been allocated a seat in the counselling of AIAPGET 2026 and wish to retain it will then have to report to the allocated institute with their documents. If they do not wish to continue with the allocated seat, they will have to log in to their registered accounts and choose the respective options.

Q: When will AACCC announce AIAPGET 2026 counselling date?

AACCC will release AIAPGET 2026 counselling dates after exam. As exam is expected to be held in July, counselling may begin in end of August 2026. Candidates have to register on the official website to participate in AIAPGET counselling. Seats are allotted based on declared choices, availablity of seats, AIAPGET score etc.

Q: How many rounds of AIAPGET counselling is held for seat allotment?

A total of 4 rounds of AIAPGET counselling is held for seat allotment. All three rounds except last stray round is held online. Candidates have to register and declare choice for college and course for seat allotment. Registration can be done on the official website. It must be noted registration is allowed only in starting three rounds. No registration is allowed in stray vacancy round AIAPGET counselling. Candidate should ensure that all the information filled in during the online registration/application form is correct and factual. AACCC shall not entertain any request to change/modify/edit/alter the information provided by the candidates.

Q: Can a candidate exit after joining allotted seat in AIAPGET round-2 counselling?

Yes, candidate can do but he/she needs to withdraw/surrender from the respective institute three days prior to the commencement of registration for the 3rd round with forfeiture of security money to avoid disqualifying from further counseling. If the candidate fails to do so, he/she shall be ineligible for further AYUSH-PG counseling (Central/State/UT/Central Pool Quota. Exit is not allowed after a candidate is allotted seat in round-3 counselling.

Q: Will AIAPGET counselling be held in online or offline mode?

NTA will conduct AIAPGET counselling in online mode. Candidates have to register online to participate in the counselling. Eligible candidates who qualify the exam can register on the official website for the counselling. After that, they have to pay fee to complete the registration process. After registration, candidates have to declare choices for college and course seeking admission into. Four rounds of counselling will be held for All India Quota seats.

Q: I forget my password that was created during the process of AIAPGET 2025 registration. How to retrieve it?

In order to retrieve forgotten password for AIAPGET 2025 registration, students have to folow process given below
