CTET 2022 Paper 2 Exam Analysis: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is organising the CTET December 2022 exam from December 28, 2022 to February 07, 2023 as per the official notification. The exam is being held in over 243 exam centre cities in the online mode. According to the students' feedback, the CTET Paper 2 was moderate in terms of the overall difficulty level. There was a mixed reaction. For some students, Paper 2 was moderate, and for some of them, it was moderate to hard. Some of them found Mathematics and Science and Social Studies sections difficult.

CTET 2022 Exam Paper 2 Analysis

The CTET Paper 2 comprised 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I, Language-II, Mathematics and Science or Social Studies. Candidates were given two hours thirty minutes to attempt the paper.

CTET exam pattern is such that aspirants need to attempt 150 multiple choice questions in two and a half hours duration. Informing about CTET Paper-I pattern, the official website informs: The test items on Child Development and Pedagogy will focus on educational psychology of teaching and learning relevant to the age group of 6-11 years. They will focus on understanding the characteristics and needs of diverse learners, interaction with learners and the attributes and qualities of a good facilitator of learning. CTET Paper-II pattern is such that, the test items on Child Development and Pedagogy will focus on educational psychology of teaching and learning, relevant to the age group of 11-14 years. They will focus on understanding the characteristics, needs and psychology of diverse learners, interaction with learners and the attributes and qualities of a good facilitator of learning. A: 

Candidates can prepare for CTET in ten days by practicing more through previous years papers and mock tests. Attempt at least two CTET question papers daily in the last one week of the exam.

According to the NCTE notification, candidates require 60% or more to pass the CTET examination. The minimum marks required by a candidate being a General category to qualify the CTET exam is 90 out of 150 and for SC, ST, OBC and PwD is 82 out of 150.
