CTET 2022 (Dec 29) Paper 1 Exam Analysis: CBSE is conducting the CTET 2022 exam, and today is day two of the exam. The CTET 2022 exam started on December 28, 2022, and will continue till February 7, 2023, at different dates. Candidates have already finished their Paper 1 exam, scheduled for December 29, 2022. Candidates can prepare for CTET in ten days by practicing more through previous years papers and mock tests. Attempt at least two CTET question papers daily in the last one week of the exam.

About CTET 2022 Paper 1

CTET Paper 1 comprised 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from subjects inlcuding Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I, Language-II, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies. Candidates were required to attempt the paper in a total duration of two hours and thirty minutes.

Q:   Is coaching necessary for the CTET exam?
A: 

No, coaching is not necessary for the CTET exam. Candidates can prepare well through self studies. One needs to cover the syllabus, solve previous year question papers and mock tests to clear the exam.

Q:   What are the highest marks in the CTET exam?
A: 

There are no fixed the highest marks in the CTET exam. The exam is of total 150 marks. Those who obtain over 120 marks are good scorers.

CTET 2022 Day 2 (December 29) Paper 1: Students Reactions and Review

As per the initial feedback received from the candidates at the examination centre for the Ctet 2022 Exam, here we are sharing about Paper 1, including the difficulty level, questions asked in Paper 1, probable good attempts, etc.

As per students' feedback, the overall difficulty level of the CTET exam was easy to moderate.

The paper pattern of today's Shift 1 was similar to the previous year's paper.

The questions asked in EVS were repetitive in nature, and some questions were based on animals, national parks, state capitals, neighbouring states, etc.

In the English section, questions were based on speaking skills, reading comprehension, etc.

As per the students, Language II and Mathematics were moderately easy, and others were very easy to attempt.

In the CDP section, questions were asked about theories of Piaget, Kohlberg, etc.

As per the review of students, the estimated good attempts based on the level of paper were 109 to 120.

The CTET exam generally held twice a year. The February session exam was conducted on February 7 and 8, 2026 at several centres across the country. The another session may be conducted later this year.

According to the NCTE notification, candidates require 60% or more to pass the CTET examination. The minimum marks required by a candidate being a General category to qualify the CTET exam is 90 out of 150 and for SC, ST, OBC and PwD is 82 out of 150.

Yes, it is possible for a candidate to clear CTET exam in three months. All is required a dedicated and disciplined approach. Clear understanding of the syllabus and pattern of an exam. Frequent revision, practice and strategize the preparation.
