Last Week Revision Strategy for CDS 1 2022 Exam: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will conduct CDS 1 2022 exam on April 10, 2022. CDS exam is conducted to recruit eligible candidates for recruiting commissioned officers for admission to Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), Air Force Academy (AFA) and Officers Training Academy (OTA). With just few days left for the exam, candidates must only focus on revision. They should revise all the topics they have studied so far. During the last minute preparation, candidates should not touch any new topic rather they should focus on revising the topics they have already studied. CDS Exam Pattern 2022

CDS exam pattern for IMA, INA, and AFA is similar while the pattern for OTA is different. The exam pattern for IMA, INA and AFA comprises three sections- English, General Knowledge, and Elementary Mathematics. The exam pattern for OTA comprises two papers-English and Elementary Mathematics. The total marks of the test for IMA, INA, and AFA are 300, while it is 200 for OTA. The standard of the topics in the CDS syllabus for Elementary Mathematics is of Class 10 level. The standard of CDS syllabus of other subjects is of graduation level.

Given below are the last minute preparation tips for CDS 1 2-22 exam along with revision strategy:

General Awareness

  • Current Affairs have a good weightage in CDS exam, therefore, candidates cannot ignore this part
  • Students must go through the last six months current affairs as well as of last one year
  • In Science part, candidates must focus on Physics, Chemistry and Biology
  • For History, candidates must focus on Indian Freedom Struggle, Gandhian Era, Social Reforms, Medieval History, Ancient History, Indus Valley Civilisation, Buddhism, Jainism, Gupta Era and many more.
  • For Geography, focus on Physical Geography, Composition of Earth, Latitude & Longitude, Indian Geography and many more
  • For Economy, candidates must focus on budget, economic survey, unemployment, WTO, etc
  • For Political Science, candidates must focus on Indian Constitution, Fundamental Rights, Fundamental Duties, Articles of Constitution
