CUET Legal Studies Syllabus 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) releases CUET syllabus for all domain subjects. With the revision in the CUET 2025 exam pattern, Legal Studies is among the domain subjects discontinued moving forward. Instead of Legal Studies, candidates aspiring for admission to Law courses through CUET will have to appear for General Aptitude Test, formerly known as General Test.

Candidates can obtain the CUET General Test 2025 syllabus in PDF format. Direct link for the CUET General Test syllabus PDF download is accessible on the official website, nta.ac.in. Alternatively, candidates can also find the CUET 2025 syllabus here. Candidates preparing for the CUET UG 2025 exam for admission into Legal Studies courses should incorporate previous years' question papers into their study routine for optimal CUET preparation. According to the revised CUET pattern, and CUET 2025 datesheet, the General Aptitude Test among all other subject papers will be held in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format in the month of May.
No, class 11th subject syllabus is not included in CUET UG exam. Students who are preparing for CUET 2026 exam must focus on class 12th NCERT curriculum. NTA prescribes the CUET UG syllabus on its official website. Candidates must be familar the detailed syllabus mentioned on the NTA CUET official website- cuet.nta.nic.in. However, for better concepts clarity, candidates may refer to the class 11th resources.
NTA CUET 2026 exam will be scheduled in May/June 2026 tentatively. Candidates preparing for board examinations must prepare well for the CUET exam along.
CUET UG general test will cover the topics from the following:
- General Knowledge, Current Affairs
- General mental ability, Numerical ability
- Reasoning (Simple application of basic Mathematical concepts, quantitative arithmetic, algebra geometry, mensuration and statistics)
- Logical and analytical reasoning
Candidates preparing for the general test of CUET UG are advised to stay updated with the current affairs by reading the newspapers and magazines. Changes in CUET 2025 Pattern
The exam pattern for CUET 2025 has been revised with the discontinuation of the Legal Studies subject paper. Instead of Legal Studies, candidates will have to appear for CUET General Aptitude Test. Besides Legal Studies, following domain subjects have been scrapped:
- Entrepreneurship
- Fashion Studies
- Tourism
- Teaching Aptitude
- Engineering Graphics
NOTE: Since the General Aptitude Test has replaced all discontinued subjects, candidates who were planning to appear for the Legal Studies exam in CUET 2025 can refer to CUET General Aptitude Test syllabus to start their preparation.
Candidates can download the CUET UG 2026 updated syllabus from official webiste of National Testing Agency (NTA) once released. NTA will release the CUET syllabus 2026 for all subjects at cuet.nta.nic.in. Candidates can download the CUET subject wise syllabus PDF online. Practice previous CUET question paper
Solving the CUET previous year question papers will help candidates understand the level of questions, pattern, and structure of the question paper. After each test analyse the weak areas and focus on the same.
Check the CUET syllabus and create schedule
Downlaod the CUET syllabus for the subjects chosen and set weekly or montly goals to complete the syllabus. Allocate more time to the subjects which requires more attention. Ensure to daily revise the topics studied.
Common University Entrance Test (CUET) result is released by National Testing Agency. CUET syllabus is divided into three sections viz., Languages, Domain Subject and General Test. CUET language section assesses candidate through reading comprehension (factual, literary, and narrative), literary aptitude and vocabulary. CUET syllabus second section- domain subject assesses the candidate's in depth knowledge on the subject he/she has opted for. About CUET Exam
Common University Entrance Test, abbreviated as CUET, is a national-level entrance exam conducted for UG admissions across 200+ universities. NTA holds the responsibility to conduct this computer-based test for admission to courses, including integrated MCA, BVoc, BTech, BSc, BBA, BCom, among others. Universities accepting CUET scores conduct counselling rounds at the university level for admission into affiliated colleges.

You can't do BBA from CUET with PCB in 12 th as CUET requires the same subjects as in 12th for BBA you need math's English and general test

No, Bapuji Academy of Management & Research (BAMR) is not under CUET. The academy accepts the scores of certain other entrance exams such as, MAT/PGCET/KMAT. Candidates who have passed graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% for reserved category) can apply for admission.

No, Terna Global Business School is not under CUET. Rather the college accepts scores of various other entrance exams such as CAT, XAT, GMAT, MAT, MAH-CET, etc. Candidates are not required to appear for the CUET exam rather they must appear for any of these exams.

No, CUET syllabus is not based on CBSE syllabus as claimed by Education Ministry in Rajya Sabha. The CUET exam is designed to assess the general understandig of the candidate in subjects he/she has opted for. CUET UG is on of the biggest UG entrance exam carnival conducted for admission in cebtral, state, private and deemed universities.
