CUET Teaching Aptitude Syllabus
CUET Teaching Aptitude Syllabus 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) releases the CUET exam syllabus for all subjects in PDF format. For admissions based on the CUET exam, candidates must take the exam for the domain subject that aligns with their course. Those aiming for BA-BEd, BSc-BEd, or any integrated BEd program post-12th were required to opt for Teaching Aptitude as their domain subject. However, the CUET exam pattern has been revised with reduction in the number of domain subjects to 37. Teaching Aptitude is among the discontinued subjects. Instead of choosing Teaching Aptitude for the relevant courses, candidates are not required to take the CUET General Aptitude Test.
The CUET General Test syllabus PDF is available for download on the official NTA website, nta.ac.in. Aspirants who choose General Aptitude Test for CUET 2025 should prepare according to the official syllabus provided by NTA.

No, the CUET 2026 syllabus does not include the chapters or topics from Class 11 syllabus. The exam, which is conducted for multiple subjects and languages, has to be prepared by completing the Class 12 syllabus only. NTA has also released the subject-wise syllabus of the CUET UG 2026 exam, which will be held in May/June in CBT mode.
However, students may refer to the Class 11 syllabus for better conceptual clarity and to make the base of the domain subjects stronger. But as far as the actual syllabus is concerned, it will only be based on Class 12 CBSE or NCERT syllabus.
CUET UG general test will cover the topics from the following:
- General Knowledge, Current Affairs
- General mental ability, Numerical ability
- Reasoning (Simple application of basic Mathematical concepts, quantitative arithmetic, algebra geometry, mensuration and statistics)
- Logical and analytical reasoning
Candidates preparing for the general test of CUET UG are advised to stay updated with the current affairs by reading the newspapers and magazines. Common University Entrance Test (CUET) result is released by National Testing Agency. CUET syllabus is divided into three sections viz., Languages, Domain Subject and General Test. CUET language section assesses candidate through reading comprehension (factual, literary, and narrative), literary aptitude and vocabulary. Yes, CUET UG syllabus for section 1 is same for all sections included. NTA suggests the syllabus for all the sections. The syllabus for CUET Language section will be inclusive of following topics, but are not limited to:

- Verbal ability

To prepare for the CUET UG section- 1 Languages candidates must solve CUET sample papers and take mock tests to become familar with the type of questions that will be asked in CUET UG. No, CUET UG 2026 official syllabus has not been released. NTA will uplaod the CUET 2026 syllabus PDFs tentatively in first week of March along with the release of official notification. Candidates preparing for CUET 2026 exam can download the CUET syllabus. The CUET syllabus is based on class 12th NCERT curriculum.
