CUET Teaching Aptitude Syllabus
CUET Teaching Aptitude Syllabus 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) releases the CUET exam syllabus for all subjects in PDF format. For admissions based on the CUET exam, candidates must take the exam for the domain subject that aligns with their course. Those aiming for BA-BEd, BSc-BEd, or any integrated BEd program post-12th were required to opt for Teaching Aptitude as their domain subject. However, the CUET exam pattern has been revised with reduction in the number of domain subjects to 37. Teaching Aptitude is among the discontinued subjects. Instead of choosing Teaching Aptitude for the relevant courses, candidates are not required to take the CUET General Aptitude Test.
The CUET General Test syllabus PDF is available for download on the official NTA website, nta.ac.in. Aspirants who choose General Aptitude Test for CUET 2025 should prepare according to the official syllabus provided by NTA.

Candidates need to mark General Aptitude Test while filling the CUET application form 2025 to take the domain exam. Only the candidates meeting the CUET 2025 eligibility can apply for this national level UG entrance exam. CUET syllabus mentions the unit names along with the topics included in the specified units. No, class 11th subject syllabus is not included in CUET UG exam. Students who are preparing for CUET 2026 exam must focus on class 12th NCERT curriculum. NTA prescribes the CUET UG syllabus on its official website. Candidates must be familar the detailed syllabus mentioned on the NTA CUET official website- cuet.nta.nic.in. However, for better concepts clarity, candidates may refer to the class 11th resources.
NTA CUET 2026 exam will be scheduled in May/June 2026 tentatively. Candidates preparing for board examinations must prepare well for the CUET exam along.
CUET UG general test will cover the topics from the following:
- General Knowledge, Current Affairs
- General mental ability, Numerical ability
- Reasoning (Simple application of basic Mathematical concepts, quantitative arithmetic, algebra geometry, mensuration and statistics)
- Logical and analytical reasoning

Changes in CUET 2025 Pattern
The exam pattern for CUET 2025 has been revised with the discontinuation of the Teaching Aptitude subject paper. Instead of Teaching Aptitude, candidates will have to appear for CUET General Aptitude Test. Besides Teaching Aptitude, following domain subjects have been scrapped:

No, a valid CUET score is accepted for admissions to both BA (Hons) in Liberal Arts & Humanities and the BA (Hons) in Philosophy, Politics & Economics at JSLAH.
In the previous year admissions, CUET was only listed as an accepted exam for the BA (Hons) in Liberal Arts & Humanities admission.

For admission to Delhi University, candidate must have passed or appeared for class 12 examination. There are no minimum marks requirement in class 12 for DU admission through CUET UG. DU may use the class 12 marks or percentage for tie breaking criteria.
