Q: Tell us about your family and educational background?
My father is a professional stock market trader and my mother is a homemaker. I am from commerce stream and the school from which I passed is "Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Rambagh, Basti"
Q: How was your board result?
A: I got 98% in my board exams.
Q: When did you start preparing for CUET Exam? What all books did you refer to?
A: Since the syllabus of the CUET Exam is quite similar to our board's syllabus, I didn't give any dedicated time for CUET until my board exams were over. After my boards got over, I started my cuet preparation. I prepared from the NCERT textbooks and MCQ question bank of Arihant publication (Commerce domain).
Q: How much time did you devote to self-study? What do you feel is better, coaching or self-study?
A: Approx 6-7 hours of regular self-study is enough for a better score. Coaching plays an important role in keeping our preparation on track. So, I would say one should always have a mix of this.
Q: Which subject is your strong one and which is the weakest? Are NCERT books sufficient for preparations?
A: I think accountancy is my strongest subject as I have scored 100/100 in my boards. And I don't think that I am weak in any of the subjects that I have studied. Yes, for theoretical subjects ncert textbooks are enough and important but for calculative subjects like accountancy or mathematics, some sidebooks can be more helpful.

Q: According to you, what was the toughest and easiest section?
A: None of the sections was so easy or so difficult, it was of moderate level.

Q: To whom do you attribute your successful CUET journey? What would you suggest to future CUET aspirants in terms of preparation, attitude, etc.?
A: I contribute this to my parents and my teachers who were supportive during the whole journey and kept me motivated to continuously work hard and the Toprankers platform as their integrated teaching, video solutions, and study materials were best suited to my preparation.
For future aspirants, I would just suggest that they start the preparation as soon as possible as the exam is highly competitive. Just preparation is not important but your positive attitude towards it also plays an important role in your success.
