For the academic session 2025-2026, the IIT JAM 2025 exam was concluded on February 2, 2025, at 100 exam centres across the nation. IIT Delhi, the exam officials will test the domain knowledge of candidates for the programmes offered. MSc Biotechnology is one of the courses for which the JAM 2025 exam will be conducted. Candidates preparing for the IIT JAM 2025 Biotechnology exam have ample time to ace and secure a seat in the desired IITs and other result-sharing institutes.
Candidates wishing to get into BTech course of IIT Bombay have to qualify for JEE Main followed by JEE Advanced. The selected candidates based on JEE score are allotted seat through JoSAA Counselling. Candidates who have completed Class 12 with a minimum of 75% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are eligible to apply for JEE Main. BTech course aspirants have to apply through JEE Main by filling out an application form through the National Testing Agency (NTA) official website (nta.ac.in). The application fee for boys is INR 1,000 and INR 800 for girls (general/gen-EWS/OBC (NCL) category). Followed by JEE Main, students have to register for JEE Advanced. For this, candidates have to first login with their JEE Main 2023 application number and password. Further, candidates have to fill out the registration form, upload scanned certificates, and pay the application fee.
At IIT Roorkee, the minimum aggregate required for its offerd courses ranges between 50% to 75% in Class 12 boards. Hence, you are certainly eligible to apply for the courses provided at the institute. However, admissions to the programmes at IIT Roorkee are done on entrance basis. One can secure a seat at the institute if they have sucessfully cleared the cut-off for the relevant exam and course. IIT Roorkee admission to its flagship courses BArch and BTech is based on JEE Main and JEE Advanced Counselling.
