VIT - Vellore, Tamil Nadu review.
Placements: The placement cell is there on our campus for handling all the placement interviews and aptitude training workshops. The highest package is 1 Crore per annum, and the lowest is 30 LPA. And the average package is 50 LPA. Top recruiting companies are like Apple, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, etc. About 80-90% of the students get a chance of an internship, and most of them are aware of the real-life problems, so they meet the requirements of the company and get enrolled in the company.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are well furnished, and all necessary equipment like an almirah, wardrobe, table, bed, and chair are there. Classrooms are also loaded with the facilities that are required, and they keep us available as soon as possible. Food quality is impressive as they give both veg and non-veg options on the menu. Games and sports are there in bulk, most of the international player comes from this college only.
Faculty: Teachers are very supportive and helpful. They help in every circumstance of life. Also, the course curriculum is well and good as compared to other private institutions. Semester exams are a little more difficult but easy to crack. About 70-80% students get more than 9.5 CGPA. And a rest above 8 CGPA.
Other: Campus life is very engaging, and we generally have to go through the workshop every day with the industry experts. My experience in this college is awesome, and I want other students to study here as the college offers an overseas study medium for students who pursue a master's degree. The campus crowd is full of engineers and innovators. Fest is held generally in the month of December, at the end of our semester.

Absolutely satisfied with the college.
Placements: 80% of students get placed who got an opportunity to sit in placements. Placements are decent at VIT Vellore. The package varies from 4 LPA to 1.02 CPA. It depends on the skill set of the student. Top recruiting companies include Microsoft, Google, Goldman Sachs, Benz, and many more. VIT lacks internship opportunities. The top role offered in CSE core is a software engineer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very well-maintained by the VIT team. Classrooms are very well-maintained with projectors installed in every class. The labs are built with proper equipments and are loaded with ACs. Hostels are well-maintained and well-furnished. The mess food varies from a hostel to hostel. VIT has excellent sports facilities as it contains 3 gyms, 3 basketball courts, and many more facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and well-educated. The course is well-designed by professionals to make a student industry-ready. Exams are not that competitive but maintaining CGPA in CSE is quite tough as there's a lot of competition here. VIT conducts 3 exams within a semester. 2 of them are close book and one is an open book exam.
Other: Students who love technology, VIT is one of the best places for them as it provides a proper environment for them. Campus life is very happening in VIT. You will see daily new events on campus. The annual fest in VIT is a paid event where they invite celebs to perform Riviera. There's also a technical fest that happens once in a year.

Good college, great security and facilities.
Placements: In my branch (CSE core), there was an almost 90% placement rate. Most of the roles were software or hardware positions, with some consultant roles as well. Top companies like Google, Goldman Sachs, and Microsoft visit for placement drives. The highest package offered might be 60 LPA, and the lowest might be 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The rooms are well-maintained, with cleaning staff coming daily. The campus is well-secured, and there is 24/7 medical facility available. The mess serves good food, and students have the option to change their mess. There are also shops available all around the campus.
Faculty: The teachers are very knowledgeable. Some are strict, while others are lenient. The college follows a flexible credit system, allowing students to choose their preferred teachers and class timings. The exams are designed to help students cover the GATE syllabus, making them highly beneficial.
Other: VIT is known for its large crowd, but it also promotes interaction among people from different parts, allowing for diverse connections.

Me and my college diaries .
Placements: All the students are getting placed in top companies and average companies based on their skills and capacity. The highest package in the university is 12 Lacs per annum and average is 9 Lacs per annum and low is 4 Lacs per annum. There are top companies like TCL, Infosys and Accenture .
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is extraordinary and attractive. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. Campus life is amazing. Hostel facilities are both great and comfortable. Coming to food options, there is a wide range of varieties in the food.
Faculty: Teachers are friendly and kind towards students and they also participate in various activities that happens in the campus and course curricullam is understandable and they will be stalls installed in the campus. Semester exams are good it only depends upon the students efforts.

Wonderful college prepares you for world.
Placements: It's the future of jobs. The course offers a variety of subdivisions: AIML, Data Science, and information security. The highest package offered was 1cr. The top companies that come to recruit are Microsoft, Dell, Google, and Amazon. It's a full package and very innovative.
Infrastructure: Top-quality infrastructure with state-of-the-art infrastructure. The rooms are well-conditioned and ventilated. College indulges in sports competitions and promotes cultural events where students display their talents. There are many basketball courts.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are very helpful and guide you through the topics, they spend a good amount of their time to ensure that a student has fully understood the topic. The teachers are experts in their respective fields and very dedicated towards the betterment of students.

Vit Vellore overview from my perspective .
Placements: The placement rate for the bioinformatics branch is not as high as in the bioinformatics field, as many students end up just going for jobs like software development, full-stack development, etc. Also, currently not many jobs are available in India for the bioinformatics field but it is a growing branch.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is decent to say the most; it's limited to 6 Mbps, as the highest I got was 5.8 Mbps. Labs that have computers have AC's, but the ones that don't have completed don't have AC. The library is good; it's more than 3 floors with lots of books and advance issuing and returning systems.
Faculty: Faculty members are good for the most part, but most of them want everything according to their likes and won't accept if you do stuff by your methods. VIT has mainly three exams, CAT1, CAT2, and FAT, where the cat1 and cat2 are of 50 marks and fat is of 100 marks.

Since our university is based on ffcs system, one should think of it before joining.
Placements: Currently less than 50% were placed. The highest package in our university is 65 LPA. The least is 4 LPA and average is around 8-12 LPA. Companies like Infosys, Teach Mahindra, Aditya Birla, Microsoft come to recruit us. Talking about internship nearly 30% will get the opportunity based on the talent and those companies include Well Fargo, Paypal, Visa, Microsoft etc.
Infrastructure: Yes the overall infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library everything is good. Hostel facilities are good but mess food is not that worthy whereas canteen food is so good. Medical facilities are also available. Sports are also conducted.
Faculty: The teachers were well qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also good. Pass percentage would be 98% in our university. Semester exams don't seem that difficult. For me I feel they are easy because I only study one day before exam and my CGPA is 8.73 but if one prepares three days prior definitely they would easily cross 9 CGPA.
Other: I chose data analytics under computer Science and engineering as my course. The good thing about choosing this is, I feel that it is an evergreen field in the software side like getting jobs and moreover it is also easy to understand and learn. Coming to extracurricular activities. We do have events every Saturday be it fun or teach.

Review of VIT Vellore.
Placements: About 95% of students get placements. Many top companies, like Microsoft, Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Amazon, etc., come here. The highest salary package offered is 44 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. Technical and consulting roles are offered. The percentage of people getting internships is low because of the large number of students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The rooms are good. Some rooms are equipped with air conditioners. Classrooms are not air-conditioned. They are very hot in the summer. Labs are good. They have air conditioners. The quality of the food is fine. The mess is normal. Medical services are good.
Faculty: Teachers are good. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The curriculum makes students industry-ready through many projects. Exams are very difficult, and they are conducted every month. The pass percentage is 50%.
