The overall experience is so good, the faculty is very much supportive.
Placements: They provide many placement opportunities for every level of kids. Around 51% I remember that they got placement in many excellent companies like wipro. Roles that offer in our college includes many posts like Accountant, even in Managerial level. Overall they have best placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good the seats are comfortable. The infrastructure include in our department are table attached chairs many classes include air conditioner also. Labs are very good in our college especially for medical students.
Faculty: The faculty of north campus is best faculty I have ever seen. The teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. They are very supportive teachers. They are always available whenever we needed them. The course curriculum relevant. The difficulty level is not that much level if you study.
Other: They organise fest every year and for freshers they also organise freshers party.

Our college is good, developed and hygienic with a 24x7 internet facility.
Placements: Almost 80% of the students got placed in both tech and non-tech fields. Companies like Microsoft, Google and Goldman Sachs visit our college for placements. The training and placement cell is also very supportive. The alumni network is also good for referrals. The highest salary package offered is 1.25 crore per annum, and the minimum salary package offered is 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: New classrooms are made for all students, which is brilliant. Infrastructure is very good. Classrooms and the library have Wi-Fi and are fully air-conditioned. Especially the canteen of DU is very good. Washrooms are neat and clean, and classrooms are installed with cameras.
Faculty: Teachers are just like in any other college. Very few teachers are interested in teaching, and most of them are just doing their job. You have to study on your own with the help of seniors and the internet. Some teachers are helpful, and their teaching quality is also the best.
Other: Fests conducted here are not that good. The campus is huge, and the dean and VC are very strict.

You can choose Delhi University.
Placements: Placements are not provided here, and it depends on students to get them. They have to get internships as per their interest and have to make their resume valuable and representable. I don't find any student getting jobs from our college, but they find jobs in good and reputed colleges afterwards.
Infrastructure: Our college looks very nice, but I thought not only college premises matters but also the way you are treated matters. The library is good but not much helpful. However, the advantage is you will get books and can borrow them for a long time.
Faculty: Teachers here are helpful, but not every teacher. However, some teachers are helpful when you need them. Teachers are well qualified and have knowledge also.

Except placement all the other departments are good in our campus.
Placements: The campus placement for me was not good because in our course curricular there are not much job opportunities, but other departments like M.Com M.Tech there are some job opportunities. Though my course is B.Com distance learning. So for our batch, it is difficult to get inside campus placement.
Infrastructure: The size of the campus is really big, there are all type of facilities like Wi-Fi, tasty food in the canteen, well-equipped library is there. There are lots of separate departments for separate courses. The medical facilities, hostel are there for us. Annual sports event, inter-college competitions are there.
Faculty: The faculty is helpful and knowledgeable. There are separate faculty and staff for the same subjects and the course is not so much relevant to me because it is a general course and the subjects I had during the course is not so fruitful to me. The faculty are also provided extra classes, practice previous year questions and make full efforts for us.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to do an MBA and currently, I am doing also, all the events like annual sports, inter-college competitions are there.

This is the best three years of my life.
Placements: Placement session of our university is good. They also provide internships for students, but I never want to be a part of it, because I want to study more without doing any job. Some of my friends got good placements just because of our university. Our university provides the best education skills.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good with big classrooms, medical facility, and a big playground where we chit-chat together. Our campus life is good. They conduct competitions in which we get awards if we have good efforts to do such things.
Faculty: Teaching staff in our college are very helpful to every student. They provide their best knowledge to students, and they don't show partiality between the average and good students. They give their precious time to us to give the best information. My course is commerce, and my teachers are well-knowledgeable.
Other: Our college provides scholarships for students who are in need. Our teachers give books or notes for the needed student. Overall, our university is the best.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q:   Is BCom (Hons) available at DU?
A:

At the undergraduate level, the University of Delhi offers full-time BCom and BCom (Hons) programmes which are considered two of the most competitive courses offered by the constituent colleges of the varsity. The duration of both programmes is three years. Admission to these courses was subject to merit in Class 12 till 2021. However, starting in 2022, admission for all the  UG courses at DU is based on CUET  (conducted by NTA). The criteria for BCom (Hons) admission at DU is as follows:

  • Candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent exam
  • Have a valid score in the CUET (Common University Entrance Test)
  • The candidate must be a citizen of India
  • Candidate must have not crossed the age of 25 years

Q:   Can I take direct admission in DU for B.Com?
A:

You cannot directly take admission in BCom at Delhi University. You have to follow the process and the University will allot you college and course. For admission in Delhi University starting the academic year 2022 -2023, you have to follow the process laid by the Delhi University which is to register yourself for the CUET exam which is a common entrance exam for admission in Delhi University in undergraduate courses. Delhi University will accept applications for numerous programmes based on CUET (Common University Entrance Test). Your admission will depend on the previous Class 12 scores and the score you obtain in CUET.

There is also a fes structure developed by University which goes as follows: INR 250 rupees for General category students and INR 100 for SC/ST/PWD/EWS. In addition, there is a cancellation fee of INR 1000 for students who wish to cancel their enrolment. After the exam, candidates must register on CSAS portal of DU. The portal will ask about the top 10 colleges you prefer. Then the CUET scores are required to be uploaded online and the portal will show you the college that you are allotted by the university. You can take that college by filling up the required fee and can also upgrade the college option you already have.

Q:   Can I take admission for BCom at DU with 83 per cent?
A:
For admission in Delhi University for BCom, candidates have to follow the process laid down by the University which is to register for the CUET. Delhi University accept applications for UG programmes based on CUET (Common University Entrance Test) and final admission depends on the previous Class 12 scores and the score obtained by students in CUET.
After the exam, candidates must register on CSAS portal of DU. The portal will ask about the top 10 colleges you prefer. Then the CUET scores are required to be uploaded online and the portal will show you the college that you are allotted by the university.
Now, while the process of the university has changed, the competitiveness of the colleges allocated to the students under DU have not. Hence, it can  be considered that getting into a BCom college under DU for a General category student with 83 percent will be equally tough in 2024 as it was earlier. However, students with excellent CUET scores might stand a chance.

Q:   What is the process for admission to B.Com course at SGGSCC?
