Delhi University MA admission till 2021 was offered in two categories: Direct Admission and Through Entrance Test. Also, along with the entrance exam, interview rounds are also conducted for admission to Delhi University MA programme. There is no minimum age limit to take admission to the MA programme offered by the university. However, DU PG admission 2022-23 was subject to a valid score in DUET as announced by the University. Starting 2023, the admission process of DU for its postgraduate courses, such as MA will be subject to the CUET-PG exam conducted by NTA.

DSE admission to MA course is based on the overall DUET cutoff. Analysing the previous year DSE cutoff 2022, the Round 1 closing percentage for M.A. in Economics was 7.62, for M.A. in Geography, it was 67.45 and for M.A. in Sociology, it was 8.38 for the General category. The DUET cutoff was concluded with the release of Round 4 Seat Allotment. The closing ranks for M.A. in Economics was same i.e 7.62, whereas for M.A. in Geography was 75.78 and for M.A. in Sociology was 55.07. If taken into consideration the trend analysis of DSE for M.A. in Geography has seen a decrease in closing percentage. DU MA application process 2023 starts by the registrating for the CUET-PG by going to the official website of the exam, which is https://cuet.nta.nic.in/. After registration, candidates must submit the completed application form and pay the registration fee which is as follows:

Beyond this, starting academic year 2023, students will also be required to register on the DU portal for final seat allotment via CUET PG scores. There is a possibility that the university will charge a nominal amount for this process (considering it is charging the same from UG students taking admission via CUET UG).
DU has not released its placement report 2023. However, as per the data collated from the DU NIRF report 2023, the key highlights of DU placements 2022 are presented below for the two-year PG courses including MA:

DU registrations via CUET 2023 for UG programmes began on Feb 10, 2023 and were open till Mar 30, 2023. Additionally, for admission to PG courses, DU CUET-PG registrations for the 2023 session started on Mar 20 and were open till May 5. Interested candidates were able to apply online on the official website of CUET UG and CUET PG.
Followed by the application forms of CUET UG and CUET PG, DU has already started the DU CSAS registration for final college and course allotment of students who qualified the CUET UG exam. The process will begin soon for CUET PG qualifiers as well.
