NLSAT 2023: NLSIU Bangalore has extended the online applications for NLSAT 2023 till April 10, 2023. Ealier, the last date of application was April 6, 2023, but it has been extended due to several requests recived from aspirants, as informed by the exam authority in its latest notification. The admission notification for NLSAT 2023 was released on January 16, 2023 for three-year LLB course offered at NLSIU Bangalore. The official website of NLSAT 2023 is admissions.nls.ac.in. NLSIU Bangalore will conduct National Law School Admission Test (NLSAT) 2023 will be held on April 30, 2023. The total seat intake for three-year LLB at NLSIU Bangalore is 120, which will be filled on the basis of entrance exam - Part A and B, and the eligibility criteria for the course. What is NLSAT?
The National Law School of India (NLSIU) Bangalore has introduced a three-year LLB course from the year 2022 onwards. In order to shortlist candidates, the university is conducting the National School Law Admission Test, also known as NLSAT. The entrance exam is being conducted at the national level that candidates from all over the country can take at their nearest allotted test centres. The mode of examination is offline i.e. pen-paper based test mode. The question paper pattern of NLSAT is divided into two parts i.e. Part A comprises 75 marks for objective-type questions, and Part B comprises 65 marks for subjective-type questions. The final selection process is based on the entrance test scores out of 140 marks, and personal interview scores out of 10 marks. The total seats to be filled through NLSAT exam are 60 as per the reservation criteria followed by NLSIU Bangalore.

NLSAT 2023 Admission Process
The admission-cum-selection process at NLSIU Bangalore through NLSAT 2023 for three-year LLB course is as under:
Step 1: Online Application - In order to apply for three-year LLB course admission at NLSIU Bangalore, candidates need to apply for NLSAT 2023 at the official website - https://admissions.nls.ac.in/llb/
They need to register, fill up the application form, and pay the requisite fee for successful application.
Step 2: Download Admit Card - The exam authority issues admit cards to the applicants of NLSAT 2023, so that they can appear for the exam on the scheduled date and time. The candidates can download the admit card that mentions the exam schedule, as well as an allotted exam centre where they can take the exam.
Step 3: National Level Entrance Exam - Candidates have to appear for NLSAT 2023 with their admit card. The exam is pen-paper based, and carries 140 marks for Part A MCQs based test, and Part B Subjective questions based test. The exam timings are from 2 pm onwards, for a duration of 2 hours 30 minutes.
Step 4: Answer Key - The exam authority publishes the answer key for NLSAT 2023, which candidates can download from the official website. Moreover, candidates have to verify their responses, and raise objections if any discrepancies are found on it. To file objections on NLSAT 2023 answer key, candidates can login on the website using their application number and password. Candidates need to pay INR 1,000 for each objection raised against NLSAT 2023 answer key. The exam authority will verify their objections, and release a revised answer key in case the objections are found to be correct.
Step 5: Declaration of Entrance Test Results - NLSIU Bangalore will declare the results of NLSAT 2023 within two-three weeks of conducting the examination. The results will mention the qualifying status of candidates, their marks obtained in each paper, and rank secured as per their category.
Step 6: Personal Interview Rounds - The candidates qualifying NLSAT 2023 written examination, will be called for Interview rounds at the law school for the final selection round. The weightage assigned for the Interview round is 10 marks.
Step 7: Publication of Admission List - NLSIU Bangalore will publish the admission list for NLSAT 2023, which will be prepared on the basis of written examination and personal interview scores. The candidates securing higher marks out of 150 will be ranked higher in the admission list. The schedule of admission rounds will be shared by the exam authority in the first week of June 2023. Those who successfully secure an LLB seat at NLSIU will start classes from July 1, 2023 onwards.
