1: Application Process

The first step is to register and apply for the accepted entrance exam, i.e. VITEEE 2026. Register the candidature by going to the official exam website at viteee.vit.ac.in. New users are required to complete the registration process before applying. Sign in using the specifics generated during the registration process and proceed to fill the application form. This step also includes submitting the required documents, submitting the application fee and booking a test slot.

2: Selection Process

BTech admission at VIT Chennai is entrance-based. Seats are allocated to eligible applicants through online counselling. Candidates are shortlisted for counselling based on their VITEEE ranks. However, candidates seeking admission to BTech (Fashion Technology) are shortlisted based on their performance in Class 12/equivalent exam and personal interviews. While registering for the counselling, candidates must select VIT Chennai as their preferred campus.

3: Admission Confirmation

Provisional admission letter is offered to selected candidates after the counselling process. Such candidates must report to the allotted campus for document verification.
