Review of Vellore Institute of Technology.
Placements: Placements are good in our college. The salary packages are high. Around 3 students got placed with the highest salary package of 1.15 CPA. Around 20% of students got placed with a salary package of more than 15 LPA. Placements depend on students' profiles.
Infrastructure: Every classroom has a projector and a smart board. Classrooms are not air-conditioned. All labs are good. They have many equipment. Our hostels are good. The hostel staff cleans the hostels regularly. Hostels have air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned rooms. The food served in the mess is good. Our hostel blocks have badminton and basketball courts. The new blocks are very premium. Our old blocks are beautiful. The infrastructure of our college is good.
Faculty: All teachers are good. Most of them are Ph.D. holders from premium universities. Their research fields are interesting. The teaching quality is good. They teach us in Tamil so it is difficult for north Indian students. The course is very relevant. It provides you with ample opportunities to explore your domain of interest and develop a skill in a particular specialisation. The semester exams depend on the professors who set the exam papers. Many courses have relative grading. You have to study well to score well. The pass percentage of the final exam is 40%. The overall pass percentage is 50%.
Other: I chose this course because it has the highest scope for research, and it provides insights into electrical, electronics, physics, and mathematics. We can change our fields to computer engineering. The best thing about the electrical department is that it is ranked top 250 in the world. According to the Shanghai ranking, it is ranked top 5 in Asia. The campus has around 40,000 students, so the crowd is more. Our college conducts fests very well. It conducts a cultural fest named Riviera and a tech fest named Gravitas. It takes 2 hours to go to Chennai and 3 hours to Bangalore. The railway station is around 3 km away from our college. The campus is beautiful. Vellore is a small city, so it does not have much to explore outside. Our college has more than 200 clubs to participate. You can become a fund member of any club. Our college has many tech teams like F1, offroad racing, electrical F1, etc. The dance and music teams are very talented and competitive. All clubs are highly interesting.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college and hostel is good. Our college provides us with all facilities. Wi-Fi facility is available in all buildings, academic blocks, and hostels. The library is good. It is equipped with air-conditioners. It is open till 12.30 am. Classrooms are non-air conditioned. They are equipped with whiteboards and projectors. Our college has a dedicated block called the TT which is the select school. Our college has labs. Some labs are sponsored by the leading companies in this field like Schneider Electric, etc. The food served in the mess and hostel is good. They provide a variety of food items. There are two messes in the P block hostel where two caters darling and PR work. The darling serves better food which is the common agreement among students. Our college has Nescafe outlets and Dominoes, which you can order online and it will deliver to the gate of your hostel. Our college has a canteen. They serve Chinese, Punjabi, and South Indian food items at affordable prices. Our college has 2 chemist shops. Our college has a clinic. If anyone feels ill they can ask the security guard to call the ambulance and the ambulance will arrive in 5-10 mins. They take you to the clinic. There are more than 10 hostels in the male category. The hostel has outdoor badminton courts, badminton courts, a lawn tennis court, a basketball court, a volleyball court, a swimming pool, and a gymnasium. The gymnasium is free. The rest of them are not free. You need to pay Rs. 3,000 - Rs. 4,000 every semester. They conduct sports activities. Our college has an outdoor stadium and open ground attached to it where people can play cricket and football.
Faculty: Many teachers are helpful and well-qualified. They have completed their masters. They are Ph.D. holders. The teaching quality is up to the mark. Some teachers just turn on the PPT, teach, and leave. The course structure is good. It covers all the major courses required. Semester exams are difficult. The pass percentage is 90%.
Other: I opted for this course because of the upcoming semiconductor chip industry boom and the robotics industry which is soon going to take over the world. This branch can give me a solid edge and foundation for this industry. The best thing about this course is we got to learn from the electrical and electronics branches. This branch has multiple roles. Our branch students can work in cool clubs like the Formula 1 club where we get to make and design cars. We can learn software online. The course should be made a little less rigorous. They should give more time for experiments. Many events and extracurricular activities are held in our college. Our college has clubs. Many artists visit our college. Many events covering all domains take place. Artists like Aakash Gupta and Gurleen Pannu. Our college organise workshops from various fields for the students where students can learn many new things. Many events are held in our college. Students who perform exceptionally are given scholarships. Students who perform well in the entrance exam will get scholarships. Students from financially weak backgrounds can avail of scholarships. In case of severe illness, the clinic can advise the person to show up at the world-famous CMC Vellore Hospital where special provisions are made for VIT students from ambulances to agents in CMC.

Thus, the fee structure for One college varies with other college due to Infrastructure, Quality, Ranking and many other.

For that you have to score atleast 105+ plus to get the CSE branch in any of the campus of this university, but for the electrical and electronics branch, if you score more than 75 marks, then you can easily get the main campus.
