The campus is very beautiful and big. It provides so many opportunities to students in every field.
Placements: A lot of students were placed this year, and the percentage of students placed is very good. Students can get many opportunities. Many students choose to do research or work under the best scientists. The highest package offered by a company this year is 36 LPA, and the minimum is around 7 LPA. Placement is possible when students give their all hard work; this college provides so many opportunities to students. In the end, we have to grab that opportunity with all our hard and smart work.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and labs are good. All rooms have AC facilities, and the infrastructure of departments and rooms is also good. All types of facilities are available here. Every branch has its own department building and has all the facilities. Hostels are also good. Workers make sure to clean all the rooms from time to time. The taste of the mess food is sometimes off, but it's not totally bad. They make good food and also prepare different sweet dishes once a week. Rooms in hostels are also good.
Faculty: The faculty is very supportive. Seniors and faculty, everyone is very supportive in this college. The environment is very supportive and beautiful here. Faculty members help in every possible way they can. They provide notes and books. Let's see about exams. Exam difficulty varies from subject to subject, depending on how you studied that subject. There's a passing scheme that for passing the semester, students have to get 21 out of 75 (ETE+MTE) if the subject has a lab and 26 out of 75 (ETE+MTE) if the subject doesn't have a lab.

Dissatisfied with the curriculum because it lacks practical applications.
Placements: Placement statistics this year, are above average, and branches like software engineering have secured. Placements for the majority of the students enrolled. Biotechnology also had an average turnout. In my course more than 15 students were placed, with the highest package being more than 16 LPA, and internship states were poor with minimum on-campus offers for biotechnology.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Classrooms are equipped with projectors for a better teaching experience. Labs have modern instruments but are not at par with the name of DTU, and new instruments are required with proper maintenance. Wi-Fi is available but the speed is maximum near the library area. The canteen is good with diverse options, and sports facilities are also good.
Faculty: The curriculum as far as my opinion is concerned is very average for biotechnology, it needs to be more hands-on to teach students more about bioinformatics tools. They are rigid, and not very helpful though we are knowledgeable. The curriculum is more on theoretical knowledge but lacks practical application, certain subjects are very tough but the overall pass average is decent.

The campus is good. The salary packages are lower in core branches.
Placements: The placement options for core branches are average to low, while the campus environment is decent but sometimes overcrowded. There are a lot of faculty members, and the academic workload is relatively easy. However, very few students secure on-campus internships in biotech; those in technical branches have better chances of landing roles as software development engineers (SDEs), analysts, or consultants, with limited opportunities in core roles.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi connectivity is unreliable, and the labs in my department are either average or below par. The classrooms are generally in poor condition, except for the AB building. The food spots are excellent, sports facilities are adequate, and the hostel accommodations are good, though the mess is not up to the mark. The library is small and often overcrowded, but the available books are satisfactory. Air conditioning works well, but the Wi-Fi issues persist.
Faculty: Most instructors are Ph.D. holders, and the teaching mainly focuses on theory, particularly in core branches. The theoretical approach does not adequately prepare students for the industry, necessitating additional learning outside the curriculum. Semester exams tend to be average in difficulty—not too easy, but not overly challenging either. The passing percentage is around 33% to 35%, and the grading system follows a CGPA format.

DTU honest opinion as a fresher.
Placements: The Biotechnology programme placements are generally high as per previous year data, but it may vary year to year. The highest package offered in this branch was 31 LPA as per my knowledge and the lowest packages range around 6-8 LPA. Most of the time, the pharmaceuticals companies, research organizations, and healthcare systems comes to DTU for recruitment, for example, Cipla, Biocon, Nestle, Unilever, etc. The roles offered to the students are research scientist, biotechnologist, quality control analyst, process engineer, regulatory affair specialist, and product development manager. Many students opt to go for further studies like M.Teach and MBA for better opportunities because there are very few companies that give better pay but after Masters, the pay out significantly increases.
Infrastructure: The department buildings are pretty average; don't expect anything cool or innovative there, and the overall infrastructure is really good. As I'm a day scholar, I personally don't have any idea of hostels, but freshers get Type 3 and Aryabhatta hostels, and it is said that there will be 3 students per room, but my friend said that there are 5 students in a room, so he also moved from the hostel and is living in a flat nearby. The mess food is below average. The canteen is overpriced according to the quality. And the rest of the sports facility is decent, but you can't borrow equipment from the college on Tuesday and Thursday.
Faculty: My experience at DTU is mixed right now; some teachers are really cooperative, and some don't bother to solve the doubts and care about their salary. As I'm a fresher, I personally don't know about the relevance of the curriculum, but when I researched it and asked seniors about it, they denied it; they said only your skills matter at the end of the day to get placed in a good company.

DTU campus life is chill.
Placements: About 80% students got placed in CSE every year. The highest package of CSE branch is 1.4 crores, the lowest is 10 LPA and average is 14 LPA. Top recruiting companies are teach gaints like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, etc. About 70-80% students got internship in CSE.
Infrastructure: The labs of DTU are highly advanced. The campus is fully wified and acified. We have also 3 libraries that open for 24 hrs. We also have 11 hostel for boys and 3 for girls. Which has there own mess, indoor area. There is also a sports complex that open for 24 hrs and a common game that open 5 hrs in morning and 5 hrs in evening.
Faculty: The teachers of DTU is very helpful and qualified. There is no loads of attendance. We can easily bunk any class. Teachers of DTU prepare us to solve practical problems related to industry. It is easy to pass every semester because we can do cheating. Pass percentage in CSE is 80%. That's why DTU college life is called hill.
Other: I chose this course because in CSE we can easily get internship and job. We have too fest like Aahvan, Yuvaan, Summit, Aarmabh, etc.

With a CRL rank of 381260, there is little chance of getting CSE in DTU or NSIT. However, you may get ECE, civil, or mechanical with this score.

DTU, NSIT, and IIIT-Delhi consider the All India CRL rank for admission, not any category rank. However, candidates with a category rank can get seats base

DTU ask for an aggregate of 60% or more in PCM and passing them along with English in class 12th. So, given that you percentage in boards is 70%, you are eligible for DTU admission counselling process.

Hi Laxman, the faculty of dtu is good overall. Now if I talk about placements of biotech, then that is not very good in any college. Most of the students either go for research or for higher studies like mtech. Otherwise there are few jobs on offer in tech companies. And the leftover students go for
