
TBSE Madhyamik Exam Pattern 2026: Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) will soon announce the TBSE 10th exam pattern 2026 for the students who are appearing for the TBSE board exams 2026. The students must be aware of the overall Tripura Board Madhyamik exam pattern and start their preparation early. We also provide subject-wise TBSE Madhyamik exam patterns on this page. The board will conduct the TBSE 10th exams 2026 in March in pen and paper mode. Each paper of the TBSE Madhyamik Exam 2026 is conducted for a duration of 3 hours. According to the TBSE 10th exam pattern, the maximum mark for each subject is 80.
English question paper will be divided into 4 sections namely Reading (20 marks), Writing (10 marks), Grammar (20 marks) and Literature (30 marks). The maths question paper will consist of 27 questions that have been divided into four groups A,B,C and D. Group A contains 3 questions of one mark each. Group B contains 5 questions of two marks each, Group C contains 9 questions of three marks each and Group D contains 10 questions of four marks each. There will be three questions for internal choice, one in Group C and two in Group D.

The Science paper will have 3 sections- Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Students need to solve the questions within a duration of 3 hours. The theory paper is of 70 marks and practical is of 30 marks.
In Social Science paper, 1 hour 30 minutes will be given for History and Political Science where the maximum score is 40. Another 1 hour 30 minutes are given for Geography and Economic. The maximum marks here too are 40.
