TS Inter Exam Pattern 2026: The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) releases TS Intermediate exam pattern. Students appearing for the exam must be thorough with the pattern. TS Inter exam pattern contain details such as thetype and number of questions, no. of sections, languages, total marks, duration of the examination etc. Along with the exam pattern, students are also advised to go through TS Inter syllabus.

What is TS Inter Exam Pattern 2026?
Students preparing to take up the TS Inter exam this year must be aware of TS Inter Exam Pattern 2026 as it gives them a general idea about the exam format. By checking the exam pattern, they will prepare accordingly and perform better in the exam. Knowing the exam pattern of TS Intermediate 2026 is essential as it helps students to prepare better. As per the announced TS Inter exam pattern, both first and second-year exams will be conducted for three hours. Full marks distributed in the maximum subjects is 100 while a few subjects will be conducted for 75, 60 and 50 marks respectively.

The TS Inter exam pattern 2026 is different for various groups of subjects as under:
Subjects with total marks - 100, and duration - 3 hours
English, optional languages (Telugu, Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu, Arabic, French, Tamil, Kannada, Oriya, Marathi), Commerce, Economics, Civics, History, Geology, Home Science, Logic, Public Administration, Sociology, and Psychology.
Subjects with maximum marks - 75, and duration - 3 hours
Mathematics and Geography.
Subjects with maximum marks - 60, and duration - 3 hours
Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology.
Subjects with maximum marks - 50, and duration - 3 hours
Music.

TSBIE is strictly against the practise of using any unfair means during the examinations. The board is actively working to prevent and discourage any malpractice during board examinations every year.
So, you are advised to go through the TS inter syllabus and solve as many previous years question papers and sample papers to avoid cheating during the TS 12th board exams.
You can treat the TSBIE sample paper as a mock test and time yourself while answering it. This will make you familiar with the exam pattern and marking scheme, after which you will eventually find the TS Inter board paper easy.

Marking done by Telangana Board is fair and lenient. After the evaluators are done with the checking, the answer sheet goes for another round of random checking by the supervisor, to ensure it's fairness.
Thus, students must not worry about the strict/lenient checking by the evaluators and focus on completing their syllabus and ensuring that their preparataion strategy is on point so that they do not have to worry about the checking
The first shift is between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM, while the second shift is between 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm.
