The GATE COAP 2026 seat allotment results for round 3 have been released for admission to the ME/MTech courses. Candidates can choose to accept & freeze, retain & wait, or reject & wait by May 27, 2026 (till 9 AM).

- The JEE Advanced 2026 exam has been conducted for admission to the BE/BTech course. The results for the same will be announced on Jun 1, 2026.
- The JEE Main 2026 session 2 result has been announced on the official website for IIT Jammu admission to the BTech, BArch and BPlan courses.
- The IIT JAM 2026 first admission list has been announced for admission to the MSc course. Students have to pay the seat booking fee by May 30, 2026. Also, the window to opt for either an opening or closing withdrawal option will be open from Jun 3, 2026, to Jul 3, 2026.

Founded as a public/government college by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, GoI. As per the IIIT Allahabad cutoff 2023, the Last Round closing rank for BTech ranged between 5924 and 9558, among which Information Technology was the most competitive specialisation. Admission to the BTech course offered at IIIT Guwahati is entrance-based. Students need to appear and clear JEE Main exam to secure their seat at the institute. However, candidates are screened based on their CGPI in BE/BTech and GATE score and then the shortlisted ones are further called for a written test and interview for final seat allotment process.
The application fee per department is INR 300 for General/ Gen-EWS/ OBC category and INR 200 for SC/ ST/ PWD category candidates. This amount is completely non-refundable. Candidates can deposit the requisite application fee by using net banking or debit/credit card facilities. Additional charges are applicable as per the rule of the concerned bank. The schedule of JEE Main counselling will be declared by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority after the declaration of the JEE Main result.
