Best Technical institution of the country.

Placements: Placements here are one of the best in this country. Versatality in placements as many people go for non core jobs, away from their departments. In top 5 departments, placements are nearly 100 percent. In other departments 60 to 80 percent. The highest package went to nearly 1.5 crores whereas the lowest package to 10 lacs p. a. Internships from the on campus are offered in penultimate year. Average stipend is nearly 30k to 40k. All the internships and placements are looked after Career Development Cell (CDC) which work efficiently for the benefits of students.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is by far one of the best in the country. Library is the biggest technical library in Asia. Wi-Fi connectivity is across the whole campus. LAN (Local Area Network) wires are provided to each student in their rooms for even better connectivity. Labs are equipped with modern machines and in correspond with industry. Medical Facilities were a problem before, but now with intervention of authorities it has improved to great extent. All the modern sports facilities like Football, Cricket and Hockey stadiums as well as Olympic size swimming pool, indoor badminton and squash courts are provided for all students.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and have vast knowledge of their respective course. The teaching quality varies from teacher to teacher but mostly it is quite good. The teachers try to introduce students to industry through varies visits to industry. Curriculum is reviewed on regular basis and try to maintain it according to the ongoing scenario. It has helped students to be industry ready.

Other: Various events in field of sports, socio-cultural and technology are being organised all year long. Two most important fest on large scale are organised. Kshitij, which is Asia's the largest techno-management and Springfest, which is the socio-cultural fest see huge participants from all over the country. The Campus is full with greenery and very peaceful, only cycles are allowed for movements which maintains the beautiful environment.
