IIT Patna offers BTech, MTech, MSc, and PhD programmes through its 10 departments. IIT Patna offers four-year BTech programmes at the undergraduate level in 11 specialisations. Hence, the answer to this question is - yes, it is possible to get into IIT Patna without GATE for MTech.
NTA has released CUET admit card 2026 online at cuet.nta.nic.in. Candidates will be able to download their admit cards online at cuet.nta.nic.in. The admit card is available for download in PDF document and is a mandatory document to be carried to the exam centre. Prior to the release of the CUET UG admit card, NTA released the advance intimation of exam city slip. It is not the admit card, but will inform candidates about the city. After downloading the CUET UG 2026 admit card, candidates will have to check all the details carefully and ensure that there is no mistake. In case of any error, they will have to contact NTA to get the necessary corrections done.
In general, students admitted to the particular branch of the undergraduate BTech course must continue studying that branch till completion. IIT Patna gives MCM scholarships to meritorious and needy students. A UG student or a 2-year MSc programme student can receive the MCM scholarship. No, the GATE registrations for IIT Patna 2026 MSc admissions are no longer open. The GATE registrations were closed in the month of November 2025. The GATE is scheduled to take place in the month of February 2026. Candidates who failed to register for the GATE are required to wait for the GATE 2027
