The CSAB Special Counselling 2025 Round 3 has concluded with the announcement of the seat allotment results for NIT Patna admission to BE/BTech courses.

- The IIT JAM 2026 exam date for admission to the MSc course is Feb 15, 2026.
- The CAT 2025 result for admission to MBA/PGDM courses will tentatively be announced by the third or fourth week of Dec 2025.
- The NIMCET 2026 application form is anticipated to be available in April 2026 for admission to the MCA course.

NIT Patna admission procedure vary from one course to another. NTA has announced the JEE Main 2026 exam date for session 2. JEE Main 2026 session 2 exam will be held from April 2 to 9, 2026. JEE Main 2026 session 2 registration will start in January last week. The JEE Main Application Form 2026 session 2 will be available on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in. The JEE 2026 session 1 exam will be conducted from January 21 to 30.
National Institute of Technology Patna provides hostel facilities both for boys and girls. The institute has a total of three boys and two girls hostels. Some of the NIT Patna hostel facilities include a central mess facility for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, security, uninterrupted water and electricity supply, wi-fi connections for providing internet facilities to students 24x7, etc.
A minimum of 60% marks in BTech is required for MTech at NIT Patna. Additionally, aspirants must hold the relevant documents as well during the admission and form filling. These documents are required for verification purposes.
The National Institute of Technology Patna offers a four-year full-time BTech course, covering several specialisations. To apply for the NIT Patna BTech course, candidates must have valid JEE Main scores. NIT Patna or any NIT require higher percentile and lower rank.
