UCEED 2026 Application Form (OUT): Direct Registration Link, Fees, & Steps to Apply Online

The application form for UCEED 2026 is out now, on October 01, 2026. 

Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria for the B.Des program need to follow the steps given below to apply for UCEED admission 2026.

1. Online Registration
2. Filling of Personal Details
3. Providing Academic Information
4. Selection of Test Centers 
5. Uploading of Documents
6. Payment of Application Fees

Step 1: Registration for UCEED 2026

• Click on the registration link. 
• A registration form will open.
• Enter your email ID and click on the "Register" button. An activation link will be sent to your registered email address. 
• On clicking on the link, you will be redirected to a page where you have to fill in some additional details like name, DOB, gender, mobile number, etc. 
• Select and confirm a password for the new applicant's account.
• Once you submit all the details, the registration process will be complete.

Step 2: Fill in Personal Details 

The candidate has to next fill in their personal details, including:

• Birth category
• Economically Weaker Section (EWS) status
• PwD status
• Email address
• Mobile number, etc.

Step 4: Select Test Centres

A maximum of three test cities can be selected in order of preference. Any requests for a change in the UCEED exam cities will not be entertained.

Step 4: Upload Documents

Scanned copies of the following documents have to be uploaded in the prescribed format:

• Recent color photograph
• Signature
• Qualifying examination certificate (if applicable)
• Gazette notification showing the change of name (If the name is not the same as in the Class 12 certificate) 
• Provisional certificate (if applicable)
• Category certificate (if applicable)
• Request letter to avail scribe or compensatory time (if applicable)

Step 5: Pay the UCEED Application Fee

Before paying the application fee, the candidate needs to confirm that the UCEED application form is complete in all respects. The application fee for UCEED 2026 will be paid online. 

To appear in the UCEED 2026 exam, the candidate needs to meet the following UCEED eligibility criteria 2026:

• Criterion 1 – Age limit: The candidate should be born on or after October 1, 2001. If the candidate belongs to the SC, ST, or PwD category, then they need to be born on or after October 1, 1996. This may change with the release of the official notification and guidelines. 
• Criterion 2 – Number of attempts: A candidate can attempt UCEED a maximum of TWO times, and that too in consecutive years. The score of UCEED is valid for one year and only for admissions in the same corresponding academic year.
• Criterion 3 – Qualifying examination: The candidate should have passed all subjects in the 10+2 exam in 2025, or should be appearing for the qualifying examination for the first time in 2026, to be eligible for attempting UCEED 2026. Students from all streams (Science, Commerce, and Arts & Humanities) are eligible. Those who appeared for the first time in their qualifying examination (Class XII) in 2023 or earlier are NOT eligible to appear in UCEED 2026.

The candidate will have to select their choice of UCEED 2026 exam centers at the time of filling out the application form. The UCEED 2026 exam will be conducted in 27 cities, and each of these cities will have one or more exam centers. A maximum of three exam cities can be selected. The entries must be in the order of priority.

The candidate will be eligible to participate in the UCEED 2026 counselling and seat allotment process if they:

1. Qualify UCEED 2026 exam 
2. Assigned a Merit Rank

IIT Bombay will conduct a Joint Seat Allotment Process for UCEED 2026 participating colleges. The B.Des application for admission to participating colleges will open after the UCEED 2026 results.

The step-wise process to fill the UCEED 2026 counseling registration form is given below:

1. Candidates who are assigned a UCEED 2026 merit rank are eligible.
2. Go to the UCEED admission portal - uceed.iitb.ac.in
3. Click on the registration tab to participate in the Joint Seat Allotment process.
4. After logging in, fill in your choices of colleges in the order of preference.
5. Upload any relevant documents.
6. Pay the admission fee.
7. Submit the form and take a printout.
