Cutoff 2026 for B.Des program in various IITs will be released soon, as the result of the UCEED 2026 is out now. UCEED Result was released on March 06, 2026. IIT Indore B.Des Cutoff
IIT Indore - School of Innovation offers B.Des programme through UCEED Entrance Test. It started with B.Des programme in 2025. It is the newest IIT which offers B.Des programme through UCEED. This year, it will offer around 16 seats to the candidates. IIT Bombay will conduct Joint Counselling to fill the seats of IIT Indore. Candidates from all the streams are eligible to fill the Common Application form for B.Des Admission.
UCEED Cutoff 2026 was released in the form of Mean and Standard Deviation by IIT Bombay on February 05, 2026. Mean and standard deviation for Part-A (UCEED 2026) are 70.86 and 25.77. Students who wish to take admission to IIT Indore for B.Des must appear for the UCEED Entrance Test and meet the programme-wise and college-wise cutoff scores.
The Scorecard for UCEED 2026 was released on March 10, 2026. Candidates can download the UCEED 2026 Scorecard till July 31, 2026. It is valid for a period of one year from the issue of the scorecard. Obtaining a rank in UCEED 2026 Entrance Exam does not guarantee admission to the B.Des programme at IITs. Hard copies of the UCEED Score Card will not be sent by post or email.

Yes, UCEED Cutoff will be round specific. It will be released separately for each round of seat allotment. Candidates who meet cut-off criteria in their categories will be considered for admission to the B. Des programme.
Cut-off for each round will be different for various categories like OPEN, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, etc.
Admission cutoff for UCEED 2026 is the minimum marks a candidate needs to secure in their category for admission to B.Des programme.
Candidates who meet cutoff criteria will be considered for admission. If the candidate fails to meet the cutoff, he or she will not be considered for admission. Admission cutoff for UCEED 2026 will be released at the time of seat allotment
The admission cut-off for Round I of UCEED 2026 will be released alongside the seat allotment results on April 21, 2026.
This will be followed by 2nd allotment on May 19, 2026. The 3rd round of allotment will be declared on June 10, 2026.
The cut-off has been released in the form of category-wise opening and closing ranks. Also, the cut-off is released for all the participating institutes. Candidates who meet the cut-off criteria will get admission to the B. Des programme. However, if the candidate fails to meet the cut-off criteria, he or she will be considered for admission in subsequent rounds. Note that UCEED 2026 counseling will have FIVE seat allotment rounds, and for each round a separate cut-off would be released.
IIT UCEED Expected Opening and Closing Rank for Different Categories
To get admission in top IITs, candidates should score between 125 to 150+. Scoring 200+ is ideal for admission to top IITs. For General Category, a rank below 15-20 is required for admission. If you have biology as a subject in 10+2, then you can apply for B.Des programme at IIITDM Jabalpur, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Hyderabad and IIT Indore.
To apply at IIITDM, you need to have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology subjects in 10+2.

No, you cannot apply for B.Des programme at IIT Roorkee even if you have cleared the UCEED Entrance Exam because Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are compulsory subjects in 10+2. But you can apply for B.Des programme at IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Hyderabad and IIT Indore.
