AP EAMCET results 2019 has been declared by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Kakinada on June 4 at 11:30 am. Candidates who appeared for AP EAMCET 2019 can check their results and ranks on the official website of AP EAMCET 2019 by using their application number and EAMCET hall ticket number. Exam qualifiers have also been sent an email and SMS regarding the declaration of AP EAMCET result and scorecard. On the basis of the ranks, candidates will be called for the counselling process.

As per the AP EAMCET 2019 result, 2,82,633 candidates have applied for the engineering and agricultural/medical stream. Out of which 185711 students have appeared for AP EAMCET 2019 engineering exam and 86910 students appeared for the agricultural/medical exam. A total of 138160 candidates have passed in the entrance examination. P Ravi Sri Teja has bagged the first position in engineering stream while Sunkara Sai Swathy has bagged the first position in Agricultural stream. The pass percentage for the engineering stream is 74.39 per cent while for agriculture and related courses is 83.64% of students have cleared the exam.

AP EAMCET Results 2019 – Preparation Method

AP EAMCET ranks are calculated using a normalization process. The normalization process is carried out to equalize the difficulty level of the papers in AP EAMCET 2019 exam. The process of normalization adopted by the exam conducting authority is given below:

GMS + Top Average Global – GMS divided by Top Average Session - SMS
X (Marks Obtained by the applicant – SMS)

• SMS refers to (Average + Standard Deviation) of the session in which the applicant belongs to
• GMS refers to (Average + Standard Deviation) of all the applicants across all the sessions together
• Top Average Session refers to average marks of the top 0.1% of all the candidates in the session in which the applicant belongs to
• Top Average Global refers to average marks of the top 0.1% of all the applicants across all of the sessions together

After the declaration of the result, the cutoff will be declared by APSCHE. AP EAMCET cutoff is the minimum marks that candidates have to secure to be eligible for admission. Candidates who have secured more than or equal to the cutoff scores of AP EAMCET will be called seat allotment based marks and availability of seats in the particular institute.

Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) will start the counselling process in the second week of June for admission to BTech programmes offered by the colleges/universities of the state. Based on the ranks obtained in the exam, candidates will be shortlisted for the AP EAMCET counselling.

AP EAMCET 2019 was conducted by JNTU Kakinada from April 22 to 23 across 44 test centres in India. As many as 1.8 lakh candidates appeared for the engineering entrance exam.
