Documents Required for GATE 2027 Registration: While filling GATE MTech application form, it is mandatory for the applicants to upload certain documents to get themselves verified. The documents are required at the time of filling GATE 2027 application form, include your scanned photograph and signature (according to specifications), followed by scanned ID proof, category certificate (if applicable). IIT Madras has revised the GATE 2027 exam date. The GATE 2027 form start date has been released. The updated schedule is given here. Interested candidates are advised to submit their application as per the schedule. The GATE 2027 registration last date to apply is available in two timelines -

How many documents are required for GATE Registration 2027
During GATE 2027 application form filling process, candidates will need a list of documents, from which the data will be collected. However, for submission, candidates will have to upload, photograph and signature, and category certificates (optional). Here is the list of documents that will be needed during GATE exam registration 2027:
- Scanned photo and documents
- Valid ID proof (scanned and updated properly)
- Category certificate (scanned in PDF format). It is optional. OBC-NCL category do not have to provide their category certificate

Candidates who belong to general category and want to apply for GATE 2027 must keep the following documents ready for registration -
