GUJCET 2018 counselling registration date has been extended. Earlier, the last date to register for the counselling process was May 28. However, the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) have extended the registration date from May 28 to May 31. Owing to the declaration of class 12th board results on May 26, 2018 the authorities have decided to extend the counselling registration date. Candidates who are yet to purchase the PIN and information booklet still have a chance to complete their registration process before the process ends.

Candidates who have qualified the written examination and have also made it to the GUJCET merit list for the exam counselling will be allowed to participate in the document verification and seat allotment process. GUJCET 2018 counselling and registration process will comprise the following steps. In the initial step, candidates will have to purchase the PIN and information booklet. The following will be made available at the designated branches of Kotak Mahindra Bank at a cost of Rs 350. Candidates will not be able to complete the registration process without the PIN. Candidates should make a note that this PIN has to be preserved for future reference.
At the second step, candidates will be asked to fill the application and a print out of the same is to be submitted at the help centre along with the required documents. A registration slip will then be issued which will carry a signature and seal. After the document verification process, the authorities will conduct a mock counselling. The process is just to make the candidates familiar with the GUJCET counselling process. At this step, candidates will be asked to fill the choices for preferred college and course and also lock their choices by entering the 14 digit PIN issued to them along with the information booklet. Allocation of seats will be subjected to the candidate’s rank in GUJCET 2018 examination and their preferred choices as per the availability.

GUJCET 2018 written examination was conducted on April 23 and the exam results were announced on May 10. The three hour long exam was conducted in online mode and comprised 40 questions for each subject namely Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
