The Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) declares the GUJCET 2026 merit ranks of the candidates based on which admissions are done in the participating colleges. The candidates are allotted ranks based on their GUJCET and class 12 scores. To prepare the merit ranks, 50:50 weightage will be given to both GUJCET and Class 12 marks.

GUJCET 2026 Merit List

ACPC GUJCET 2026 Merit List: The Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) declares the GUJCET 2026 merit ranks of the candidates based on which admissions are done in the participating colleges. The candidates are allotted ranks based on their GUJCET and class 12 scores. To prepare the merit ranks, 50:50 weightage is given to both GUJCET and Class 12 marks.

  • The GUJCET merit list was released on June 11 at gujacpc.admissions.nic.in.
  • The final merit list was released on June 17.

To check the rank, candidates have to use their application number and the CAPTCHA code shown on the screen. Note that only those candidates who completed the registration process of GUJCET 2026 counselling are included in the merit list.

How to Check GUJCET 2026 Merit List

The ranks of the candidates are available individually under the respective logins on the official website. To check the GUJCET merit ranks, candidates have to use the steps below:

  • Visit the official website - acpc.gujarat.gov.in/be-b-tech.
  • On the homepage, click on merit rank search link
  • On the next page, enter the application number and the CAPTCHA code displayed
  • On the next screen, candidates can check their GUJCET merit rank and other important details.
  • Take a printout of the document and keep it safe.

How is the GUJCET 2026 Merit Rank Decided

The Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) manages B.Tech admissions and releases the GUJCET 2026 merit list on its official website, gujacpc.nic.in. The final rankings are published after addressing any challenges to the initial provisional list.

The merit lists are calculated using these specific criteria:

  • GUJCET-Based Merit List for 95% seats of sanctioned intake of Government and Grant-in-Aid institutions & 50% seats of sanctioned intake of Unaided institutions: Merit will be prepared based on merit marks of the 50% weightage of theory percentile issued by respective board in the subject of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry (or Biology for eligible branches) and 50% weightage of the percentile of the GUJCET 2026 examination in corresponding subjects.
  • JEE Main-Based Merit List for 5% seats of the sanctioned intake of Government and Grant-in-Aid Institutions: Merit will be prepared based on All India Rank declared by NTA, Delhi, based on JEE Main 2026.

After GUJCET 2026 Merit List Declaration

After the GUJCET merit list is out, candidates have to proceed to the next steps of the counselling process:

  • After the candidates get their merit ranks, they have to fill out the choices of their preferred colleges and courses.
  • Based on the choices filled by the candidates and merit ranks, the seat allotment will be done.
  • Next, candidates have to accept the allotted seat by completing the payment of the required fee.

 This year, the GUJCET counselling will be completed in 3 rounds.

Each paper of KCET exam is conducted for 80 minutes. The Kannada language exam of KCET will be conducted for 60 minutes for Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates. KCET exam Biology and Mathematics exam will be conducted on same day while Physics & Chemistry exam will be conducted on separate day.

The total duration of the GUJCET exam is 3 hours. The combined Physics and Chemistry paper is held for 120 minutes, while the Mathematics or Biology paper lasts 60 minutes.

Q:   What is the mode of GUJCET exam?
A: 

The GUJCET exam is conducted offline as a pen-and-paper-based test. Candidates will receive an OMR answer sheet where they must darken the correct circles using a black or blue ballpoint pen.
