HPCL Recruitment through GATE 2025: Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) will release the official notification inviting applications to recruit engineers in May 2025 (tentative). Candidates will be selected based on their GATE 2025 scores, followed by an interview round.

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national level entrance exam conducted by either of seven IITs or IISc Bangalore on a rotational basis. GATE 2025 will be online on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025 (Computer-based Test). The exam is conducted every year for admission to MTech and PhD courses. GATE is also a gateway for recruitment to various PSUs.
A candidate can choose at least three exam cities while filling the GATE application form. Students applying for GATE 2025 can opt for two subject papers from the prescribed set of combinations. Earlier, the candidates could apply to appear in only one subject. As a candidate can appear in only two papers (only approved set) of the 30 papers for which GATE 2025 will be conducted, they must carefully choose the papers they wish to write. A candidate is expected to appear in the papers appropriate to the discipline of his or her qualifying degree. However, he or she is free to choose any paper according to his or her admission plan, keeping in mind the GATE eligibility criteria of the institutions in which he or she wishes to seek admission. HPCL Recruitment through GATE 2025: Application Procedure
The application form will be available online mode only. Candidates will need to follow the below steps to register online:
Passing marks in GATE exam is different for all 30 papers. The GATE qualifying mark for PSUs recruitment is also different. Candidates appearing in any GATE paper have to obtain the minimum mark in order to be declared qualified for the exam. Only qualified candidates are considered for admission to MTech/MSc/PhD programs and the MHRD scholarship. The statistics report for GATE 2025 has not been released yet. It will be available with the GATE results and the toppers list on GATE's official website - gate2025.iitr.ac.in. As per the elgibility criteria released by the IITs, It is mandatory to have minimum 75% marks (65% for reserved category) in class 12 to take admission in IITs, NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. Candidates should apply for JoSAA conselling only if they fulfill all the conditions of eligibility. However, many institutes admit students on the basis of JEE Main where there is no requirement of minimum marks in class 12.

HPCL Recruitment through GATE 2025: Payscale and perks
Candidates, along with basic pay, will be entitled to allowance at 50% of the basic pay under Cafeteria Approach (including medical benefits for self and family members). Candidates will also get Dearness Allowance, HRA and retirement Benefit up to 30% of the basic pay that includes contributory provident fund, gratuity, and superannuation benefit applicable as per the corporation’s policy at that time.

No, BTech admissions at IIT Kharagpur accept the scores of the JEE Mains entrance exam to decide a candidate's admission. The exam is followed by the JoSAA counseling to finalise the admission of a candidate. The WBJEE entrance exam is not accepted for any admissions into the IIT Kharagpur courses.
