IPU BTech Seat Matrix 2026: Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has released the IPU BTech 2026 seat matrix details online at ipu.admissions.nic.in. Through the seat matrix, candidates can now check the list of participating colleges and the number of BTech seats offered through the IPU CET 2026 admission process. A total of 10140 BTech seats (excluding MQ/Minority Seats) are offered to eligible candidates. To fill up these seats, a centralised IPU BTech 2026 counselling process is conducted. IPU BTech 2026 Counselling
GGSIPU has started IPU BTech counselling 2026. As an online process, IPU BTech 2026 counselling is held to select eligible candidates for admission into the participating colleges. During registration, candidates have to choose their preferred courses and colleges in order of preference. They are advised to choose as many choices as possible, for higher chances of allotment.
IPU BTech 2026 seat allotment result is declared online. Allotment of seats will be done based on candidates’ merit rank, preferences and seat availability. Since no entrance exam is held for BTech admission, JEE Main scores will be considered. Once seats are allotted, they will have to confirm their admission by paying part-academic fee before the final date.

Candidates should have a valid JEE Main scorecard to apply for IPU CET B.Tech counselling. Admission to the B.Tech course is given based on JEE Main score, followed by IPU CET counselling. No, GGSIPU has closed IPU-CET for 2026 BCom admissions. At this point, GGSIPU BCom admission has progressed to counselling rounds. However, candidates who have a valid CUET-UG score can also apply.
If no score of these exams is available, candidates must wait for next year's admission.
