In this section Shiksha brings to you analysis of JEE Main Paper 1 (BTech) analysis by Vedantu. According to Vendantu the analysis of question paper done by them in two shifts is based on the memory of students appeared in the exam. Questions in the subject Chemistry were from the coordination compounds inorganic chemistry, thermochemistry, PH questions.

The Mathematics section of JEE Main question paper 2020, questions were easy but they were said to be little lengthy as per the time limit. They questions were asked from coordinate geometry, probability, integration, conic section, circle and tangents, mathematical reasoning. Questions in the Physics section of JEE main 2020 question paper were asked from rotation, dopplers effect, thermodynamics, electrostatics, current electricity, modern physics, newton’s law of cooling and they were lengthy as well.

In this section students will get to see the expert analysis of of JEE Main question paper 2020 (Shift 1) by Gradeup. According to the experts of Gradeup, the overall level of the exam was easy to moderate, the JEE Main question paper for this year was a bit easier than the last year’s question paper. Chemistry section of the JEE Main question paper was easy and the questions were based on the NCERT books.

Physics section was of moderate level but numerical questions were calculative in nature which took much time than expected. For the Physics section students needed to have clarity about the concepts/topics. Questions in the Mathematics sections were lengthy but easy.

While a JEE Main score isn't strictly mandatory for everyone, having one is a big plus. Amity University Mohali mostly looks at your school grades (merit-based), but a good JEE Main score makes your application stronger. High scores in national exams can also help you qualify for scholarships.

Mahatma Gandhi Engineering College considers JEE Main scores for admission into BTech programme. But, it is not compulsory exam for taking admission in BTech in this college. The college can also provide admission based on merit in Class 12 for the candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria.
