Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main is a national level exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for the admission of candidates to BE/BTech or BArch/BPlanning in NITs, IIITs, CFTIs, etc. The exam also acts as a gateway for JEE Advanced which is conducted for admission to IITs. NTA organises the examination twice in a year, which provide an opportunity for the students to improve their scores in the examination. JEE Main April/September exam is scheduled from September 1-6, 2020. JEE Main is an online examination and it is a must to qualify it for appearing in JEE Advanced.

Yes. Students with valid JEE Main scores can apply for admissions through the WBJEE counselling. However, these students will be eligible for allotment only in the 10% approved seats offered by the self-financing colleges and institutes participating in the state-level counselling.

Yes the SRMJEEE paper pattern is similar to JEE Main however, the difficulty level is not equivalent to JEE main and the question paper is adjusted to moderate level difficulty level which will be easy for most students.
