JoSAA 2020 Counselling Registration and choice-filling begins

JoSAA 2020 choice-filling: Joint Seat allocation Authority (JoSAA) has started the registration and choice-filling for JoSAA 2020 counselling on the official website today. Candidates eligible to appear for the counselling are required to visit the JoSAA.nic.in for the registration process.

After registering themselves, candidates will be required to fill their online preferences of institutes and engineering streams as per the schedule. Candidates must ensure that they fill the choices of engineering streams and colleges according to their preferences as it will be one of the important parameters based on which the rounds of seat allocation will take place.

Step-2: Search for the link named "JoSAA 2020 registration" and click on it

Step-3: On the new window, enter you JEE Main 2020/JEE Advanced 2020 application number and password and click on the submit button.

JoSAA Counselling is for government/NIT/IIT-level colleges, you need a JEE Main/Advanced score, seats are allotted by the government, fees are lower, and the process is centralized and merit-based.

Yes, participating in JoSAA counselling is mandatory to get a BTech seat in Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. Students must first pass JEE Advanced exam. Then students must register on the official portal for counselling, for final seat allotment.
