JoSAA 2025

JoSAA counselling is a national level counselling process. It is a centralised counselling process for all candidates with JEE Main and JEE Advanced ranks. All UG courses admission offered based on JEE Mains ranks at NITs, IIEST, IIITs, and other GFTIs is done via JoSAA. Similarly for IITs, all UG course admisison based on JEE Advanced ranks is based on the JoSAA counselling process. JoSAA is the abbreviation of Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). This counselling process has been set up by the Ministry of Education to oversee the admission process at 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 27 IIITs, and 40 Other-GFTIs. Eligible candidates after passing JEE Mains and JEE Advanced have to participate in JoSAA counselling for admission at the IITs, NITs, IIITs and GFTIs.
