JoSAA Counselling 2020 Round 5 Seat Allotment Results would be released today on josaa.nic.in. This is also the last round when students can exercise an exit option. Read below to know details.
JoSAA Round-5 Seat Allotment Result 2020 will be declared today i.e. November 3 by 5 pm. However, in earlier rounds, the allotment results were released late from the given schedule. The same is possible in this round as well.
Candidates, who have registered for JoSAA 2020 counselling process, will be able to check their seat allotment status by logging into the official website i.e josaa.nic.in. After the announcement, candidates can also check and access their JoSAA Results 2020 for admission to IIT, NITs, IIITs, CFTIs and GFITs via the direct link placed below.

Last Chance to Exit the Counselling Process
Candidates who are participating in the JoSAA 2020 counselling process must note that Round-5 is the last round to exercise the exit option from the seat allotment process. It will be applicable to all candidates participating in the counselling process including those who have been allotted a seat, those who do not wish to change and those who are yet to be allotted a seat yet. Following this, no exit would be allowed for candidates from JoSAA after Round-6.
Confirm Admission by November 5
Students, if satisfied with the allotment, need to confirm their seat allotted under Round-5 by 5 pm on November 5, 2020. Notification related to the decision on seat confirmation for Round-5 would be released on November 6 by 8 pm. Students can opt for seat withdrawal, or exit option by midnight on November 6, 2020.
Also, Round-6 is the last round for admissions to IITs. An additional counselling round for NIT+ System would be conducted from November 9 to November 13. Please note, document verification for acceptance of seat will be done in physical mode at the Admitting/Allotted Institutes.

Yes, you can participate in the CSAB special rounds even after accepting a JoSAA seat in the NIT+ system, provided you follow the specific rules.

No, you need to fill fresh choices for CSAB rounds. The choices filled in JoSAA will not be carried to the CSAB counselling.
