JoSAA 2021 Mock Seat Allotment for round-1 has been announced by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority on October 22. Candidates are required to log in to the official website to check the mock seat allotment results.

JoSAA 2021 Mock Seat Allotment: Steps to Check
Students need to follow the steps below to check the JoSAA mock seat allotment result:
- Visit the official website: josaa.nic.in
- On the homepage, click on the link for “JoSAA Mock Seat Allotment Result 2021”
- On the new page, log in with required credentials such as application number and password
- The mock seat allotment result will appear on the screen
Candidates should note that the JoSAA mock seat allotment result would be displayed as per the choices filled by them till October 22, 2021, 12:00 am. There will be another round of mock seat allotment which will be announced on October 24, 2021, based on the choices filled by students on October 23, 2021, till 5 pm. As per the official JoSAA 2021 schedule, the round-1 seat allotment result will be announced on October 27, 2021, at 10 am.

All candidates must note that the JoSAA 2021 registration and choice filling are going on and will end on October 25. It is t note here that the mock seat allotment results are not the final seat allocation results. Final seat allotment results may vary from JoSAA mock allotments. The mock seat allotments are conducted to give candidates an idea about the institute and stream where they may secure admission on the basis of their ranks. Candidates can also check the seat matrix from the official website by selecting the institute's name and programme. After the allocation of seats, candidates have to pay the fee, upload necessary documents on the official website.

No, JoSAA counselling is not required for the students who want to take admission on the basis of entrance in BTech at Army Institute of Technology, Pune. Only entrance scores are considered at the time of admission. Students need to submit JEE Mains scorecard at the time of admission.

Yes, students may get a seat in NIT Puducherry BTech with 92 percentile in JEE Main through JoSAA counselling. The cutoff is high for specialisations, such as CSE. With NITPY being one of the top institutes and part of the NIT Tag, the cutoff is always high. But 92 percentile can be enough for later
