Candidates who have scored above the cutoff in JEE Advanced and JEE Main 2021 are only allowed to participate in the JoSAA 2021 Counselling. Round 6 seat allotment to candidates was based on their choices of courses and institutes entered at the time of JoSAA 2021 registration. Students who participated in round 6 of JoSAA counselling can check the steps below to access their seat allotment letter
- Visit the official JoSAA website
- On the home page, click on the “JoSAA 6th Round Seat Allotment Result” Link.
- Select the Seat allotment for IITs /NITs/IIITs/GFTIs or IIEST
- Enter your JEE Main Application Number, password and security pin in appropriate fields
- Click on login
- JoSAA 6th Round Seat Allotment Result 2021 for the respective group will appear on the screen
- Take the printout of the seat allocation letter for future reference

After the sixth round of the JoSAA counselling, the authority will conduct a special round of admission for the NIT+ system from November 20 to 24, 2021. Candidates have to complete the entire admission process for the special round in this period only. The admission process includes steps such as online reporting, fee payment, uploading and verification of documents, seat allotment and reporting to the institute.
JoSAA 2021 round 5 seat allotment result was announced by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority on November 14. Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) started the registration for the counselling on October 16, 2021, and continued till October 25.

JoSAA Counselling is for government/NIT/IIT-level colleges, you need a JEE Main/Advanced score, seats are allotted by the government, fees are lower, and the process is centralized and merit-based.
