The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) is a centralised counselling process for candidates with JEE Main and JEE Advanced ranks.
- Via JEE Main ranks, candidates get admission to NITs, IIITs and GFTIs.
- Through the JEE Advanced ranks, candidates are allotted seats in the IITs & IISc Bangalore.

NIT Raipur partners with JoSAA to manage the seat allotment for the BTech programme in several rounds. The system looks at your JEE rank and your saved list of college preferences. If your rank matches the cutoff, you get a seat offer automatically. You can then choose to "Freeze" your seat or wait
