Based on the last-round seat allotment, to get into IIT Madras, students must score between 159 and, 10682 for the General AII India category. A detailed course-wise IIT Madras JEE Advanced cutoff 2024 is given below for the General category students under the AII India Quota. 

For admission to IIT Madras, candidates must pass Class 12 and graduation before applying for the course. As per the minimum eligibility requirements for the course, candidates need a BE/BTech/BArch degree or a master's in Science/Arts with a minimum of 60% aggregate (55% for SC/ST/PwD). Qualifications from exams by recognised professional societies are also accepted. Further, candidates will be selected based on a valid GATE score.

Apart from this, candidates who graduated from IITs with BTech degree and having CGPA of 8.0 (on a scale of 10) and above are eligible to apply for direct admission without GATE score. Yes, GATE score is required to get admission to IIT Bombay course. However, aspirants who have not qualified GATE can also get admission based on written test conducted by the institute.
