JoSAA Official Website Login 2021: Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) started the JoSAA 2021 counselling from October 16 onwards. Eligible candidates were needed to visit the JoSAA official website (josaa.nic.in) to create the login credentials. Candidates who qualified for JEE Main and Advanced were only able to register and fill choices only after JoSAA official website login.
JoSAA counselling is conducted every year for admission to IITs, NITs, IIITs, IIEST and other GFTIs. Step-2: Click on the button stating “Online Registration and Choice Filling.”
Step-3: Enter the login credentials in the window

Candidates will need to use the same login credentials as of the exam’s based on which they are appearing the JoSAA counselling. After entering the credentials, JoSAA will fetch the details of the candidates entered while filling the JEE Main and JEE Advanced application form. Steps to Recover JoSAA Password using SMS
Step-1: Visit the JoSAA official website
Step-2: On the login window search for ‘Forgot Password’ and click on it
Step-3: Click on the checkbox stating “Using a verification code sent via text message (SMS) to your Registered Mobile No”
Step-4: In the appearing window enter the required details
Step-5: Click on the ‘Submit’ button to receive an SMS on the registered mobile number with the verification code
Step-6: Enter the verification code and proceed to create a new password for the JoSAA portal
Steps to Recover JoSAA Password (using email)
Step-1: Visit the JoSAA official website
Step-2: On the login window search for ‘Forgot Password’ and click on it
Step-3: Click on the checkbox stating “Using a reset link sent via Email to your Registered Email address.”
Step-4: In the appearing window enter the required details
Step-5: Click on the ‘Submit’ button to receive the password reset link at the registered email ID
Step-6: Click on the password reset link and proceed to create a new password for the JoSAA portal
Choice Filling/Locking using JoSAA Official Website Login 2021
After entering the login credentials successfully, candidates can fill in choices as per the schedule. Candidates can enter as many choices of colleges and courses for admission based on their JEE Main and Advanced scores. After completing the choice filling, the JoSAA portal will host the choice locking facility by providing the following options
- I agree to lock my choices
- I will lock my choices later
After locking the choices, candidates must take a printout of their choices.
Checking Seat Allotment Result using JoSAA Official Website Login
JoSAA will release the seat allotment result after every round. JoSAA official website login with application number and password will help the candidates to check the JoSAA 2021 seat allotment result. After the release of the JoSAA mock seat allotment list, candidates are provided with an opportunity to modify their choices.
Online Reporting via JoSAA Official Website Login

No, JoSAA counselling is not required for the students who want to take admission on the basis of entrance in BTech at Army Institute of Technology, Pune. Only entrance scores are considered at the time of admission. Students need to submit JEE Mains scorecard at the time of admission.

Yes, students may get a seat in NIT Puducherry BTech with 92 percentile in JEE Main through JoSAA counselling. The cutoff is high for specialisations, such as CSE. With NITPY being one of the top institutes and part of the NIT Tag, the cutoff is always high. But 92 percentile can be enough for later
