NHPC Recruitment through GATE 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should be eligible for filling the application form of NHPC Recruitment through GATE. Before applying for the exam, check the official notification carefully. Check the required qualifications as per the notification released last time in the table below.

Q:   Who can give GATE exam?
A:

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national-level examination conducted by the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) for admission to Master of Engineering (ME), Master of Technology (MTech), and direct PhD programs in engineering, architecture, and related branches of science.

The eligibility criteria for GATE include passing a bachelor's degree in engineering or technology or basic Science from a recognised university, and meeting the specific eligibility criteria for the discipline you wish to pursue. Candidates from India and other countries can apply for GATE, but they must meet the eligibility criteria. The exam is conducted online and is offered in 30 subjects. Candidates can check details about course-wise eligibility criteria for GATE exam at www.shiksha.com/gate-exam.

Q:   What is the eligibility for GATE examination?

Besides, candidates who are pursuing final degree are also eligible to apply for GATE. For more details, candidates can refer to the following article - https://www.shiksha.com/engineering/gate-exam

Q:   For how many papers can one student apply in GATE 2025?
A:

For more details regarding the admission criteria at any particular institute, the candidate is advised to refer to the websites of that institute. Those candidates opting for two paper combinations for GATE 2025 have a primary choice of paper as their default choice. The second choice of paper has to be chosen from the allowed combinations.
