The counselling rounds will include steps like Choice Filling, Allotment, Confirmation of Allotment, and Reporting to the College/TFC and payment of fees.

10+2 passed/appearing candidates can apply for TNEA counselling. Admission will be based on marks obtained by the candidates in the relevant subjects, namely, Maths Physics and Chemistry which will be reduced to 200 (Maths 100, Physics 50 and Chemistry 50).

Yes, candidates who wish to apply for BTech (Lateral Entry) admissions at MJRPU are required to appear for the CUET to qualify. However, CUET scores are not accepted for the first year BTech admissions at MJRPU. Candidates are required to appear for the JEE Mains to qualify for first year admissions.

No, direct admission to B.Tech is not available at SVUCE. However, with the Tech lateral entry program, eligible applicants get admission directly into the program's second year. This is because the eligible candidates already have the basic foundational knowledge of the subject from their prior relevant qualifications and so they can directly start studying in the second year of the B.Tech. The eligibility is:

JK Lakshmipat University accepts BTech applications from candidates with valid  JEE Main scores. However, having a JEE Main score is not compulsory to secure admission to the BTech programme of the university. Candidates can also apply based on their Class 12 merit or CUET UG scores. The university may require such candidates to appear for other selection rounds, such as an entrance exam or a Personal Interaction round. The Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech/BE/B.Sc Engineering) is a degree awarded by universities to students who have completed four years (eight semesters) worth of coursework related to a specific branch of engineering. Most colleges operate on semester basis i.e each year corresponds to two semesters. Eligibility for entry is 10+2 years of school education. Generally the first year (first two semesters) is common to all branches, and has the same subjects of study. Courses divert after first year. The medium of instruction and examination is English and IES is affiliated to RGPV university. IES offers engineering in various branches like: computer science, civil, fire technology, electronics and telecommunication, electrical engineering, chemical engineering. Including all the streams in BTech the number of seats available are around 1700-1800.
